How Rotten Can Chelsea Rot?!

He who is down fears no fall, right? Yes. But in Chelsea's case, this just doesn't work. Like, they're down already, as far down as you would expect a big team. But, despite being this down, we still don't know how far down they will go. It's gotten worse to the point that rival supporters are even worried for them - at least, I am. How did they get here?

Unbelievably shocking, expensive signings - check!
Swapping managers like sim cards - check!
Cutting off backroom staff that has served the club during its successful years - check!

Errrrm, what else? If those three pointers up there are not a sure recipe for sporting disaster, then there must be a new recipe in town that I know nothing of, kindly help me by listing them out. In short, Chelsea created disaster, foisted it upon themselves, and are still demanding for more of it. What a peach of a club!

At the end of their dismantling at the Emirates Stadium, the only thing that comes to mind is, can these guys get it right next season? I've seen top teams play crazily bad before. But, in all honesty, I don't think I've ever seen one suffer this magnitude of fall, ever. Like, Chelsea were third on the log last season. They signed Aubameyang (a proven goalscorer), Sterling (a battle tested attacker), Fofana (a burgeoning defender) and Cucurella. Out of those four dudes, Cucurella looked like an absolute steal considering the way he made life difficult for the top teams while he played for Brighton last season.

When the season started, my Chelsea friends taunted me effortlessly with the insane squad depth they've got. ESPN and SkySports didn't help situations either, arranging those Chelsea dudes according to their positions in several pictures. In some positions, about three good guys are vying for a spot. "We'll win everything this season," they say. Over here, Chelsea fans have a penchant for targeting Man United fans. With our early season wobble, those dudes sang terrible songs into my hearing.

Well, I'll let it rest for now. Today is not the day to gloat over their sadness. So, Pochettino is coming in, and they've started singing like parrots once again. I won't compare him to Potter, but just remember he flopped at PSG, the only giant European club he's ever managed. That's not to say he won't do well at Chelsea, that's to say fans shouldn't get overconfident like they did when Potter joined. Like I once said, I wish Chelsea swift recovery. It's no point mocking a team that's already down.

Take Heart, Gunners!
At halftime, Arsenal fans were on the edge of their seats, hoping and praying for this London club to see it till the end. At that time, West Ham (and the post) were courageously holding Man City to a goalless draw. The Arsenal dude beside me was going absolutely nuts in support of West Ham. Common, dude, another team is playing and you're here pissing your pants off. Damn!

Immediately Haaland scored to make it 2-0, the dude sitting beside me charged off like a mad cow, mumbling a lot of expletives on the way out. Really?! Really?!! You guys bottled it and now expect a relegation threatened West Ham to help snatch points off City. That's like building castles in the air, it won't happen. You guys made me dream of a wonderful world where City won't win their fifth title in six years. You sold that dream to me for 9 months and I believed it, only to snatch it away with just a month of the season to go. Watching your hopes go up and then getting dashed every single game-week till City closes the title is enough revenge for me. Tah-tah!

I actually don't know what happened to Chelsea, it's unexplainable and I just wish the season just end now

Well, they have to play the remaining five games, even if we have to go drag them from under their wives' skirts.😂😂😂

On a more serious note, Todd Boehly ruined this season. The dude just came in with loads of money, sack the guys who have been working off camera all these years to make Chelsea a top team, bring in his own dudes and start making sporting decisions all by himself.

He made the same mistake Man United by entrusting the sporting side of a team to a guy who's only good at making money (Woodward). If Boehly doesn't learn fast and snap out of this madness, Chelsea will be out of contention for a long time, just like Man U have been for the past 10 years.

Till today I still think Cucurella was a big scam, bro was no impact on this Chelsea team, He may prove me wrong next season but for now, he is a scam. Chelsea needs a miracle before this season ends, it may look impossible for them to get relegated but it could happen if they are not careful.

I felt sad when he joined Chelsea, was hoping Man United will get him to rival Shaw. He looked a class act at Brighton. Well, Chelsea is stinking right now. Maybe the poor form of the whole team got to him. Even the dependable players flopped real bad this season. Let's see how he fares next season, that's if he plays ahead of Chilwell.
