15K, Comienza la cuenta regresiva CAF 2026. 😎🏃🏽♀️💞🔥

Saludos amigos
ENGLISH VERSION
Greetings friends
Sunday. Long training day, and now with shorter distances, as we begin tapering towards the 2026 CAF marathon, the race everyone has been waiting for and dreaming about. Emotions are running high everywhere, I know it will be a great time, a race with a lot of meaning for everyone, and I am also very happy because we will be reunited with the HIVERUN team. For today's training, we went with the team, leaving from the most beautiful place in the city. We arrived at 5:45 a.m., and it was still quite dark, but it started to get light around 6:10 a.m. For this training session, the plan was 15K. We went to flatter routes with hardly any inclines, as the idea is to reduce the load but stay active. I continue to work on my heart rate zones to get myself mentally prepared for race day, when I will need to pace myself well during the first few kilometers in order to finish strong. We all started out together, but as always, after two kilometers, everyone settled into their own pace. Today I had pleasant company throughout the route, Mr. Yonis, a man who jogs with us. I enjoyed the route with him, we talked, we supported each other, he was great company.
My heart rate stayed between 140 and 160 bpm, with a few spikes on the uphill sections, but I breathed deeply and it stabilized. At the end of the route, in the last few kilometers, we pushed a little harder, and my heart rate went above 170, without reaching 180. I felt good and strong, processing the fact that I have to be very careful with my heart rate control in the first kilometers so that I feel good and don't let it go out of range. We had wonderful weather throughout the entire trip; everything has been blessed. And to finish off this productive training session, I enjoyed the best electrolyte water in the world, coconut water, which was nice and cold and sweet, the best for recovery.
And now, with two weeks to go until the big day, CAF 2026, together with the HIVERUN team.
