Dia Lunes, inicio de semana decretado no laborable en mi ciudad con motivo de celebrar a la patrona del oriente venezolano, por lo que no habia excusas de ir a visitarla bien temprano, y nada mejor con un trote y parar en su monumento para agradecerle y celebrar su dia. Ya a las 6;00 am, estabamos listos para ir a realizar nuestro entrenamiento y por supuesto la ruta escogida para este dia la que da a el mar, donde esta el monumento de la virgen del valle. Para hoy tocaba un trote suave pocos kilometros inicie los dos primeros kilometros mas suave tipo calentamiento, estos kilometros son importante no iniciarlos tan rapido, de alli fui bajando un poco el ritmo, al llegar al monumento de la virgen teniamos 5k, paramos y nos tomamos unas capturas fotograficas en el monumento, ya se estaba acomodando todo alli desde temprano, porque estaban programados varios. Este monumento es icono en mi ciudad, un hermoso monumento que les invito a conocer. Nos hidratamos un poco ya que las temperaturas comenzaban a elevarse, un dia soleado se hacia sentir.

Tomamos el camino de regreso a casa, y en el camino me doy cuenta que strava no anunciaba tiempo, asi que revise y que tal estaba pausado, asi que como un kilometro no me reporto. La ruta total son 8K, pero me registro 7K, bueno son las cosas de strava. Termine mi carrera el dia de hoy en buen tiempo, un poco mas bajo los tiempos que al inicio de la carrera. Llegue a casa tranquila porque no tenia que ir a trabajar, me estire, y disfrute de un rico cafecito mientras me enfriaba sin prisa.

Monday, the start of the week, was declared a non-working day in my city to celebrate the patron saint of eastern Venezuela, so there was no excuse not to visit her early in the morning, and what better way than to go for a run and stop at her monument to thank her and celebrate her day. At 6:00 a.m., we were ready to go for our training session, and of course, the route chosen for this day was the one that leads to the sea, where the monument to the Virgin of the Valley is located. Today we had a gentle jog of a few kilometres. I started the first two kilometres at a gentle pace, like a warm-up. It's important not to start these kilometres too fast, so from there I slowed down a little. When we reached the monument to the Virgin, we had done 5k. We stopped and took some photos at the monument. Everything was already in place there from early on, because several events were scheduled. This monument is an icon in my city, a beautiful monument that I invite you to visit. We hydrated a little as the temperatures began to rise, and a sunny day was in the air.

We took the road back home, and on the way, I realised that Strava wasn't showing the time, so I checked and saw that it was paused, so it didn't report about a kilometre. The total route is 8K, but it recorded 7K for me. Well, that's Strava for you. I finished my run today in good time, a little slower than at the start of the race. I arrived home relaxed because I didn't have to go to work, stretched, and enjoyed a delicious coffee while I cooled down without rushing.
