Dia 17. Un entrenamiento de velocidades atropelladas.

Monday, beginning of the week, with an ideal rest day for long speed training. My training this day was a bit of a mess, first the rainy weather was all day long, which prevented radically the speed training in the stadium, because as it is a dirt stadium the ground gets very slippery, and it has been several days of non-stop rain. My husband and I went out a little bit later than usual to train waiting for the rain to stop. For this long speed training we went to a long avenue close to home. We warmed up from home for about 11.59 kilometres. When we arrived at the beginning of the avenue we started the planned speed of 1 km, we recovered in three minutes, then we continued with the second series, well here began the chaos, the next stretch was very slippery, I started to slow down so this speed became a normal jogging kilometre.
Para la tercera serie, fuimo de regreso por el otro lado de la avenida a ver si no estaba tan resbaladizo el pavimento, bueno estaba menos, pero aqui el problema fueron los carros, mucho trafico, ademas que de repente paraban, y bueno entre en panico, el pavimento resbaladizo y el trafico, ya descontrolo mi mente, asi que fraccione este tramo de 1 kilometrpos en dos de 400 metros, la cuarta y ultima serie, estuvo algo mejor, la pude hacer continua, pero ya un poco frenada, al terminar esta serie trote a casa en zona de recuperacion. Y si que me senti hoy alsaboteada en mi entrenamiento, pero bueno gracais a Dios todo fluyo bien sin nada que lamentar, uno se cuida mucho de alguna caida que nos cause alguna lesion que son bien delicadas para nosotros los corredores.
For the third series, we went back on the other side of the avenue to see if the pavement was not so slippery, well it was less, but here the problem was the cars, a lot of traffic, plus they suddenly stopped, and well I panicked, the slippery pavement and the traffic, it was already out of control my mind, so I split this stretch of 1 km in two of 400 meters, the fourth and last series, was a little better, I could do it continuous, but already a little slowed down, at the end of this series I jogged home in recovery zone. And if I felt today alsaboteada in my training, but good gracais to God everything flowed well without anything to regret, one takes care of much of some fall that causes us some injury that are very delicate for us runners.
Y llegando a casa, el tiempo estaba super oscuro, ya venia nuevamente elchapatrron de agua, gracais a dios no nos sorprendio en el entrenamiento porque aqui si hubiera sido saboteo total jejeje. Y seguimos preprarandonos para nuestro proximo reto junto a HIVERUN.
And arriving home, the weather was super dark, and the water was coming again, thank God it didn't surprise us in the training because here it would have been total sabotage hehehe.... And we are still preparing for our next challenge with HIVERUN.
