Disfrutando de los beneficios de combinar caminata entre montañas y arenas de la playa // Enjoying the benefits of combining hiking in the mountains with the sands of the beach
Greetings to my dear friends of #Hive, and of this community of Full deportes, continuing with my training to acquire more resistance during the jogging, today I share with you my experience walking between mountains and sand.it was an activity that I enjoyed a lot I was super tired, the legs did not give me for more I felt that I fainted, I was short of breath, but the satisfaction I felt when I completed the route was really rewarding.
The tour began at 8:00 am, I went with my husband and two friends, it is a very lonely place so we had to go guided by those who know the route, the place is located on a beach that is reached only through a mountain located in Carúpano-Edo Sucre (Venezuela). We went with enough water and adequate clothing to withstand the sun's rays and suitable footwear to cross the mountain, and lots and lots of sunscreen on our faces as the sun was quite strong.
As the road was long, we walked at a gentle and steady pace, it was approximately 500 mts of just walking on a flat but rustic surface, then we started to reach the mountain where the road began to get steeper as we had to cross the mountain on a fairly narrow and steep road which made me feel more tension in my muscles, As it was an uphill section first so I didn't get so exhausted I kept a regular walking pace and took some breaks to keep my heart rate steady, when I got out of breath I slowed down and took smaller steps, and I hydrated.
In this trek I had against me that as part of the route was a very steep cliff, fear took away my energy for my walk, but as it was the first time that I did this route I did not feel confident in my abilities to walk in the mountains, unlike our guides who knew the way and having done the route several times they walked as if nothing, there I realised how important it is to feel confident because it gives us security and we can perform better in our activities.
After crossing the mountain there was a softer path, but it is not tiring to walk on the sand of the beach after crossing a mountain is not easy, because the legs are subjected to a previous effort, and sinking the feet into the sand and making an effort to lift them makes us burn even more calories and feel more work in the muscles. The contact of the feet with the sand is really relaxing and helps to release stress and anxiety, it is divine that sensation of feeling while walking barefoot in the sand is as if we were falling and rising again to the surface, when we walk barefoot in the sand we work the muscles of the foot, That contact with the grains of the sand with our skin is really fascinating friends also the sand is an excellent natural exfoliant and being in direct contact with the sand helps us to soften the roughness of the feet, so do not miss the opportunity if you are near the beach to walk in the sand, as it not only helps us physically, mentally but even helps us to beautify us.
When we arrived at the beach, having already covered 2.2 km, I felt good despite the physical fatigue, I felt my blood flowing throughout my body, and my mind was well relaxed and my brain was oxygenated in the best way. We rested for a while, we hydrated and consumed something sweet to resist the return, which is already calmer because we no longer have the uncertainty of an unknown road, and that the mind when it knows that it is going back to finish the day is happier and works better hehehehe.
At the end of the whole route and being at rest I felt some tension in my muscles especially in my calves, what I did was to take a muscle relaxant, take a shower and rest for a while with my legs bent until I fell asleep, and when I woke up I felt totally renewed from such a pleasant experience where I felt very satisfied and proud of myself for every day doing activities that help me to improve my physical condition and the best thing is that this is intrinsic to my mental health.
