Inicio de semana 6 de entrenamiento CAF 2026.ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈπ₯

Saludos amigos
ENGLISH VERSION
Greetings friends
Tuesday. Today I started my sixth week of training for CAF2026. On Monday, I took a break from running on asphalt, but I did some strengthening and stretching exercises at home, which are necessary to prevent injuries and improve our performance. According to the plan we are following, we varied the days because we adapted the plan to our daughter's schedule. Of course, we respected rest days and the number of kilometres per week, as well as the planning of the series, since everything is established according to loads and training week. Today's training was supposed to be series, but we changed it to the 12 km route that corresponds to Thursday. The series, God willing, will be for tomorrow. For today, we chose a very good, cool route because there is a lot of vegetation. We chose it because we went out for a jog in the early afternoon, and the sun was quite intense. Another natural factor that worked in our favour in coping with the harsh sunlight was the pleasant breeze, which cooled everything down. It was like a fan blowing, breeze after breeze.
Thank God I brought my water, but guess what, my husband forgot his. Oh dear, well, what can I say? One thing is that it's very thematic, but I scan everything before starting the route to make sure I have everything I need and don't go without. Thank God this route has a natural hydration point, and my husband hydrated there, because I wasn't going to give him any of my water, which is carefully measured out for every kilometre ππππ. At that point, we were halfway through the 6 km route. I maintained an average pace of 6:30 - 6:10 min/km. I felt good, although a little hot because of the sun, but on the way back, it was cooler. I successfully completed today's training.ππ½ππ½
Well, we'll continue with our training sessions. See you soon.
