Mi participación en la CAF 2026 [ESP-ENG]😎🔥🏃🏽♀️🙏🏽










Saludos amigos runners!!!
Para esta carrera iba mentalizada a seguir una estrategia de mantener mi frecuencia cardiaca controlada, y asi asegurar llegar con energias hasta el final de la carrera, los eventos que me sucedieron en las carreras anteriores, donde me desvanecia ya casi llegando a la meta, no querian que volvieran a ocurrir, por eso me mentalice seguir esa estrategia, ya que sino la seguia y volvia a fallar, me iba a causar mucha incomodidad, ya que he causado mucha preocupacion a mi esposo, amigos, ya que siempre es un momento incomodo. Pero esta vez administre bien la frecuencia cardiaca, cuando subia por encima de 170 ppm, bajaba intensidad, y respiraba mas profundo, lleve la carrera de una forma diferente a las anteriores, no utilice audifonos y esto me hizo muy bien, disfrute de la musica del ambiente, de las palabras de apoyo de todos los presentes, esto fue maravilloso, me disfrute cada kilometro, me senti bien y con energias para finalizar, manteniendo esas reservas para terminar la ruta.
DSin duda alguna la CAF sigue liderizando el top de la carrera numero 1 de mi pais, una organizacion, atencion, y disfrute al maximo. En esta ocasion no logramos coincidir al finalizar la carrera con el equipo de HIVERUN; ya que nos teniamos que regresar al hotel, para alistarnos y devolvernos a nuestra ciudad por compromiso laborales. Quede muy satisfecha con mi participacion, ya que baje 6 minutos con respecto a mi participacion en 2024. Y bueno ahora toma un tiempo de recuperacion, y siguiendo fortaleciendo las estrategias.

CAF 2026 is here! I couldn't believe it when February 8 dawned, the day I had trained so hard for. With only a few hours of sleep and my heart beating a mile a minute, my stomach churning, I started my early morning routine. I got up at 3:30 a.m., took a shower, and enjoyed my breakfast, which I had already tested on every long run: my banana, my black coffee, my slice of bread with jam. Even though this time we were staying very close to the race start area, I got up very early because that gave me a chance to digest my pre-race breakfast. We went down to the hotel lobby, which was full of runners, and many were already walking through the streets toward Los Caobos Park. We arrived at the park and left our bags in the lockers, and then my husband and I headed to our corrals. I stayed in C, and my husband went to B.
For this race, I was mentally prepared to follow a strategy of keeping my heart rate under control to ensure I had enough energy to finish the race. I didn't want a repeat of what happened in previous races, where I fainted just before reaching the finish line. That's why I mentally prepared myself to follow this strategy, because if I didn't and failed again, it would cause me a lot of discomfort, since I have caused my husband and friends a lot of worry, as it is always an uncomfortable moment. But this time I managed my heart rate well. When it rose above 170 bpm, I slowed down and breathed more deeply. I ran the race differently than before. I didn't use headphones, which was very good for me. I enjoyed the music around me and the words of encouragement from everyone present. It was wonderful. I enjoyed every kilometer. I felt good and had the energy to finish, saving those reserves to complete the route.
Without a doubt, CAF continues to lead the top of the number one race in my country, with organization, attention, and maximum enjoyment. On this occasion, we were unable to meet up with the HIVERUN team at the end of the race, as we had to return to the hotel to get ready and go back to our city due to work commitments. I was very satisfied with my performance, as I improved my time by 6 minutes compared to my participation in 2024. And now it's time to recover and continue strengthening our strategies.
