Dia viernes por la tarde. Un entrenamiento diferente para un viernes. Fui con mi esposo a trabajar un poco de potencia, y para ellos fuimos hacer velocidades en cuestas. Y con un sol bien radiante ☀️☀️ nos fuimos a entrenar a las 4:00 pm, una horita algo fuerte, pero era el tiempo que teniamos mientras esperabamos que saliera nuestra hija del liceo. Inicie mi entrenamiento con un calentamiento de 2,41 K, a una velocidad comoda. Para hacer cuesta escogimos un tramo que ya lo tenemos bien medidito, asi no estamos pendientes del celular, para ver la palicacion, y lo bueno de este tramo es que esta en sombra, asi que nos protegimos un poco del sol, habia mucha brisa esto hizo menos intenso el sol. Los intervalos que hicimos fueron de 200 X 200, realizamos 10 series de esta combinacion. me senti bien haciendo los intervalos, ya casi cuando finalizo el intervalos a penas como 10 metros sentia pesada la pierna, pero me decia, si puede, y seguia.

Hoy no sufri tanto con las series, puede ser como tambien eran al aire libre me distraia con el medio. Al finalizar las series, trote 2,17 Km,a un ritmo zona 1, de relajacion. De regreso al punto de partida, paramos a tomarnos unas lindas capturas fotograficas junto al mar. Hoy fue un maravilloso viernes, termine de forma productiva mi semana. Muy importante alternar los entrenamientos, y trabajar los intervalos, para asi avanzar en nuestro desempeño como corredores. Ahora a descansar😴, y alimentarme bien para el largo que sera el dia Domingo, en nombre de dios. Feliz fin de semana queridos corredores.

Friday afternoon. A different kind of training for a Friday. I went with my husband to work on our power a little, and we did some speed work on hills. With the sun shining brightly ☀️☀️, we went to train at 4:00 pm. It was a bit intense for an hour, but it was the time we had while we waited for our daughter to get out of school. I started my training with a 2.41 km warm-up at a comfortable pace. For the hill training, we chose a stretch that we already have well measured, so we don't have to keep checking our phones to see the app. The good thing about this stretch is that it's in the shade, so we were a bit protected from the sun, and there was a lot of breeze, which made the sun less intense. The intervals we did were 200 X 200, and we did 10 sets of this combination. I felt good doing the intervals, and when I was almost at the end of the intervals, just 10 metres away, my legs felt heavy, but I told myself, ‘You can do it,’ and I kept going.

Today I didn't suffer as much with the sets, maybe because we were outdoors and I was distracted by the surroundings. At the end of the sets, I jogged 2.17 km at a relaxed pace in zone 1. On the way back to the starting point, we stopped to take some nice photos by the sea. Today was a wonderful Friday, and I ended my week on a productive note. It is very important to alternate training sessions and work on intervals in order to improve our performance as runners.
