My Actifit Report Card: April 2 2024 - The Curious Case of Tuesday and the Ever-Changing Wardrobe

Have you ever had trouble remembering what you actually did at the end of the day?

That describes me right now.

The day flew quickly with little significant excitement.

The kids enjoyed themselves immensely splashing through the puddles in the schoolyard.

Regretfully, rain isn't exactly famous for creating happiness.

It definitely determined what we did, requiring careful preparation to keep everyone occupied indoors and out of the rain.

Secretly, my mind wandered back to the previous two Easter celebrations.

Those were lovely gatherings with lots of games (even if I freely admit to losing a lotᅳI'm a good loser and find my luck in other places!😘).

The celebratory mood was enhanced by the mouthwatering cuisine and amazing sweets.

I definitely had an excess of calories from yesterday's feast, which my walks today haven't fully burned off.

So tomorrow's visit to the gym is most welcome.

There's not much motivation to go for a walk outside given the weather forecast.

Rain showers are a defining feature of Dutch weather, appearing out of nowhere.

With only 11 degrees Celsius today, we shiver wrapped up in a winter coat and scarf.

By Saturday, it goes up to a comfortable 25 degrees, only to abruptly drop to 14 due to a change in the wind.

It's like having one week to experience all four seasons!

I have so much clothing, both summer and winter, that it's overflowing in my closet.

However, that's just part of Dutch living; you always need to be ready for everything.

Flexibility is a must!
