The Lost Ward • Prompt

We woke up to find the kid missing.
He is my ward.
I volunteered to look after him when his parents passed on.
I had to call the neighbors to aid in finding him.
I wondered where he went or perhaps he was taken.
I did not want to think about his disappearance because it only saddened me the more.
We were all frightened.
My Lost Ward gave us a scare.
A very big scare.
In the end, we found him.
What a joy it was to us after we saw him.
