Does the weather respect country borders? My Actifit Report Card: November 28 2021
I did a long drive today. Starting at the PL/DE border at 6am and arriving at my Mom’s in the north of DK by 6pm. I had three passengers from BlaBlaCar (what their paid will cover the speeding tickets I earned in DE…). One was a bit quiet but I had interesting conversations with other two.
When I started in Poland, it was still dark. Cold but dry - so I didn’t have any frost on my car. When I picked two of my passengers in Berlin, the skies were bright blue and I had to wear sun glasses. By the time we reached the place where autobahn A24 forks for Hamburg and Schwerin, the skies have been covered in clouds. As we progressed the clouds produced rain.
On A7 towards Flensburg I drove in thick fog. Quite magical when hiking in a forest but I didn’t enjoy it while driving.
Interesting thing happened when I crossed the DE/DK border. Almost immediately the fog was lifted and I drove in good weather. Did the weather know it separated foggy Germany from sunny Denmark?
But it didn’t last long. When I picked my 3rd passenger in Vejle, it was raining again. The last ~150km were awful - rain, snow, sleet, gusty wind. I drove about 80km/h on a highway.

I've made an interesting observation:
@ptaku has been the most "international" Champions League player in the current season. He played vs @notak (Australia) in the qualifiers, had opponents from USA, Kenya and Germany in the grup phase (@manuvert, @practicaleric and @pjansen respectively) and will most likely play against @masoom (Pakistan) in the Q4. So 5 continents represented. Anyone from South America here?
