Like 12yrs old boys. My Actifit Report Card: February 26 2022
My hiking friend is almost 60yrs old (I am approaching 50). He is a fantastic companion for mountain hikes. Except that I can never match his pace. Today we hiked 24km in snow. With only 700m of total elevation gain, it would have been a stroll, if not for the snow.
We enjoyed the day very much. When came back to our B&B and ate dinner, it was still daylight. My friend suggested going for a walk to waterfall, 4km uphill. Only 3 years ago I’d have shunned the idea. But today I simply put back my hiking cloths, took a headlight and we set off. We reached the waterfall after dark. It felt like being 12yrs old again - except that when I was 12 I didn’t do such stupid things as going on a trail after dark. #AliveAndThriving !

I hiked at about 900-1100 m a.s.l. When I got back to my B&B at 400m - it felt like spring and winter was only a distant memory.
