My town installed mysterious boxes on trees along our river and in parks. Turns out they are meant as habitat for insects. I can only hope that it’s not promoting settlement of those little creatures like mosquitoes who make our lives miserable. I guess there plenty of “good guys” among the little species that would find their homes in those boxes.
