Spring hike. My Actifit Report Card: May 21 2022
I took today two Ukrainian refugees ladies and two Polish friends on a light mountain hike. 16km with just 750m of total elevation gain is my definition of a stroll in mountains. The route included some interesting country seeing points:
- one of three wooden synagogues in Poland that survived WWII
- (probably) the oldest brewery in Poland operated by monks
- a village with two comets in their coat of arms (tow comets were first spotted by astronomers on a observatory on a mountain above the village
In the context of a @macfit Champions League match vs @flaxz, I wish the hike had been longer (=more steps). I had to take into account the abilities of my party - it included ladies 15 and 66 years old - and a pleasant and safe group trip makes me more #AliveAndThriving than any @actifit competition
