I did another 30km, with over 1100m of total elevation gain. Can’t share photos due to poor network coverage in the valley where I am staying for the night.

The first half of the day was cold and misty. Although I did get some sun in the crucial member where I reached a nice montane meadow with a view. The other half of the day was on the hot side - a sign of what is coming in the following days.
