Independence Day. My Actifit Report Card: November 11 2023
My way of celebrating Nov 11 is hiking in the beautiful mountains we have here in Poland. One may think that 5° and cloudy is not a weather for outdoor activity. Quite to the contrary, it’s excellent!
After the hike we visited the museum of Julian Ochorowicz, a 19th century Polish inventor. He patented transmitting sound over distance (broadcasted Paris Philharmonic Orchestra to the Paris world expo) and saved the Eiffel Tower from decommissioning by installing telegraph on its top.
We travelled by train so I could drink a tasty beer at the end. Fantastic Independence Day.
