*I will wrap-up the group phase of **Season 5 *Champions League in a separate post - the pic is only a teaser :-)

In this post I'd like to address @POLIAC Leagues participants and announce qualification process for Season 6 of MAcFiT Champions League.

MAcFiT Season 6

Wild Cards

Two Wild Cards will be allocated to Poliac participants:

  1. The Winner of League One 6.1 gets admission into MAcFiT Champions League group phase. They will be seeded as top seed in group C. If League One winner happens to win the current season of MAcFiT Champions League or Consolation Cup, then this slot goes to the next POLIAC League One player.
  2. The best League One who -
    a) is not eligible for automatic admission into the group phase
    and
    b) has MAcFiT rank that doesn't guarantee seeding in Round 2 of qualifiers
    -
    will get a slot in the said Round (they will start the qualifiers in Round 2 and will be seeded there, with seed number 10)

Pre-qualifiers

All POLIAC League One, Two and Three participants are welcome to join MAcFiT qualifications. Those who have high enough rank in my competitions will start in either Round 2 or Round 1 and will be seeded there. Everyone else will go thru pre-qualifiers. They are open to all, but Poliac players will get a nice incentive.

The pre-qualifiers are played in "walk alone" mode. Ie. all participants post their normal @actifit reports over the scheduled days (Jan 21-24).

you don't need to do anything extra - these days overlap with POLIAC rounds 21-24.

I will note their step counts over the 4 days and add the best three results.

In MAcFiT competitions the step count is divided by 1000 and rounded to the nearest integer, this is called "score")

The best 8 will go into Round 1 of Champions League qualifiers, while the next 16 will play in Round 1 of Consolation Cup qualifiers.

Here's the offer for POLIAC players:

Your worst result during the pre-qualifications days will be replaced by a number resulting from the below formula:

N = 48 - (Ln * 12) - LP

where
Ln is your League number (1, 2 or 3)
LP is your League position as of Jan 23 (based on official @poliac report for Round 23)

In a word, the higher your league and the higher your position therein, the higher bonus you will get.

League One players

@grecki-bazar-ewy @bucipuci @masoom @practicaleric @browery @manuvert @flaxz @merthin @ptaku @cezary-io @dirkzett @sk1920 @venan @mariya36 @sandraa1 @pagane

many from this group will qualify to next season Champions League or will be seeded in the qualifiers. Only @sandraa1 and @dirkzett don't have any chance for that, so they will be interested in improving their League position to the highest bonus possible

League Two players

@stefannikolov @homesteadlt @zimnaherbata @krakonos @ilodz24hd @kiel91
@racibo @cryptospa @romualdd @pjansen @matthew1 @notak @asia-pl @davidthompson57 @davidesimoncini @giulius

some players can still win Champions League (@ilodz24hd) or Consolation Cup (@zimnaherbata, @asia-pl, @notak) or at least improve their rank position. Some (@davidthompson57 @davidesimoncini @homesteadlt @pjansen ) have high enough rank to be sure of being seeded in the qualifiers. All others should be interested in getting the highest bonus possible in the qualifiers.

League Three players

@soluce07 @griega @markhodge @kwsnomzys @liftslikealady @kpreddy @dontcare89 @axel-mccornstack @martusamak @stewie.wieno @deepresearch @mushanov @fredkese @rozioo @ykretz.sports @ziabutt3836

none of the listed above has any significant MAcFIT rank, so do your best to improve your chances by getting as high a bonus as possible

"Poprzeczka" (bar) competition

For all who are in @racibo's #poprzeczka competition, I will take your final result as of Jan 23 (divided by 1000) and use it to replace your worst pre-qualifiers result (if the swap benefits you). This should be of interest to: @racibo, @deepresearch, @kwsnomzys, @romualdd, @sandraa1.

All above mentioned players may be interested in reading "MAcFiT's All You Need To Know" and specifically the paragraph on prizes.

Fitbit es mejor que solo Actifit. La sincronización es fácil. He usado Fitbit con Actifit desde junio 2020.

Espero que tengas buenas resultades en los pre-calificaciones y avances al fase de grupo.

The Wild Card for the second round of qualifiers will be decided between @sandraa1, @sk1920 and you, @dirkzett

Why this Wild Card is important?

  • even if you lose in Round 2 of qualifiers and don't qualify into Champion League, you land automatically in Consolation Cup. That means you will for sure
    -- earn a prize (minimum 0.25 HBD)
    -- earn ranking points (minimum 0.5 pts)

Whoever of you is the highest placed in League One as per @poliac report after round 15, will get the bonus.

Why these players?

  • everyone else in League One has high enough #MAcFiT rank to either be admitted directly into Season 6 or such that already guarantees a place in the Round 2 of qualifiers

Why round 15?

  • I need to freeze #MAcFit ranking after the QFs of the current season for the sake of allocating players in pre-eliminations (ranking positions below 24), which are scheduled for the weekend of Jan 21-24
  • 15 rounds means everyone in League One has played against everyone one else, so it's a fair measure
