Poliac League One/Two vs Champions League

A few words on how the two POLIAC competitions are related. In fact they aren't and will run their own course. This said, I'd like to make some declarations regarding the future.

@browery has divided #poliac league into two divisions. This allows his competition to be completed in more or less one month. Which - more or less - matches the duration of my Champions League. If we can keep this kind of "more or less" synchronizator, I would make the following amendments to Champions League qualification process. The following will be valid for Season 3 and may be subject to change in future seasons.

Champions League Season 3 Access

All @actifit users are welcome to compete in the Champions League. However, there are only 16 slots. Therefore qualification process is needed.

Players admitted automatically into the group phase

1. The winner of Poliac Champions League Season 2

2. The winner of Poliac League One edition 4, based on the League's final ranking table
   2.1 If the winner already qualified by winning the Champions League, the slot goes to next League One player

3. Top 3 ranked players from Champions League ranking table after Season 2 (more on the ranking system in an earlier post)

4. In the group phase, the Champions League winner will be the top seeded and the League One winner will the second highest seeded.
   4.1 The group phase seeding and the play-off mechanism used, will make sure that the Champions League winner and League One winner could meet each other only in the Final, provided they both win their respective groups.

The above reserves 5 slots, leaving 11 open for qualification winners.

Players who need to qualify

All current Champions League, League One and League Two players will be invited to enter the qualifications. The list will be open for outsiders as well.

The qualification will consist of two rounds, with a maximum of 44 entrants.

Seeded players

11 slots. Seeded players cannot play against one another in the qualifications. If the total number of entrants is less than 44, then the highest seeded players will have a "bye" in the first qualification round and will start from the second round.

1. The runner up of Champions League
   1.1 Should they already qualified automatically, the slot will be taken by the next highest ranked player based on Champions League ranking table after Season 2 (the running table is given below - note that the season is in progress)
2. The 2nd player of League One
   2.1 Should they already qualified automatically, the slot goes to next League One player, based on the League's final ranking table
3. Two players eliminated in the semifinals of Champions League Season 2
   3.1 Should they already qualified automatically, the slots will be taken by the next highest ranked players based on Champions League ranking table after Season 2
4. The 3rd player of League One
   4.1 Should they already qualified automatically, the slot goes to next League One player, based on the League's final ranking table
5. Next 5 highest ranked players (who haven't already qualified and or have not been seeded due to above rules) from Champions League ranking table after Season 2
6. The winner of League Two

Future

Currently the players in Champions League and League One are in majority the same group. But long term the two sets might be different, so hence my thoughts on how to link the two competitions.
