An Overwhelming 14 Hours Duty Yesterday š±

Hello everyone!
Welcome back to my actifit post!
And for today's report
Yesterday was one of those days that truly tested my endurance and dedication. From the moment I started my shift at 6:30 am until the late hours of the night, it seemed like there was no break in sight. It was an incredibly tough day, but I managed to power through and survive the relentless demands.
The morning started off with a chaotic rush during breakfast service. It seemed like every guest decided to arrive at the same time and, to top it off, they all ordered copious amounts of cappuccinos. The orders piled up, and I found myself tirelessly making 150 cups of cappuccino in just an hour and a half. There was no respite for my hands as I worked non-stop, trying to fulfill every guest's request.
Once breakfast was finally over, there was no time to relax. The next task on the agenda was provision loading. I had to gather all our stock from outside and ensure it was properly loaded onto the ship. It was physically demanding work, but I pushed through, driven by the knowledge that there was more to come.
Following the loading, we were granted a mere 30 minutes for lunch. The break was short-lived as we had to swiftly open the restaurant for the lunch buffet, which lasted for three hours. It was a whirlwind of serving guests and attending to their needs, barely leaving any time to catch my breath.
As soon as the lunch rush subsided, a quick 10-minute break was all I had to prepare for the mandatory passenger drill. The drill was crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests in case of an emergency. Guiding them through the process took focus and attention, leaving little room for rest.
With the drill completed, it was time to shift gears and prepare for dinner service. Among my responsibilities was setting up the breads and coffee, aiming to minimize the chaos that often accompanies a busy dinner rush. It was a race against the clock to finish all the preparations before the evening unfolded.
The evening passed by in a blur of serving guests, attending to their requests, and maintaining an atmosphere of hospitality. The hours ticked away, and I found myself striving to complete everything by 10:30 pm. As soon as I finished my duties, I managed to squeeze in a quick shower before exhaustion took over, and I fell into a deep sleep.
Yesterday was undoubtedly one of the most challenging days I've experienced in my role, but it also showcased my resilience and ability to adapt under pressure. Despite the physical and mental strain, I pushed forward, determined to provide the best service possible to our guests. It's days like these that remind me of the importance of perseverance and the rewards that come with conquering difficult times.

Grinding myself until I get back on being fit again!

It's good that you don't have to make coffee by hand in Turks, but it's hard to make so much coffee in a short time on a coffee machine :)
