Back in the Office Again

It has been months since I last had a full day in the office. Most of my work involves writing code and running simulations. Our team is operating quite well digitally. Hence, going to the office was quite minimal ever since covid knocked on our doors.

Yesterday I finally had a day at the office, and, I wasn’t alone. Our team organized an exam for some bachelors students and it was our job to supervise it. While the exam was still taken digitally we decided that it would be a nice opportunity for our office to use the supervision as a start of going back to normal.

And it was fun! Great to see everyone in a work environment again. After the exams were done we had lunch and by the end of the day when I cycled home, I was treated to a beautiful sunset. The Sahara dust situation over Europe really gave us a show the past days:
