mimismartypants just finished a 3.4km run, that lasted for 30 minutes.
This run helped mimismartypants burn 297.0 calories.

Description from Strava: @exhaust -engine

Felt a bit tired today but thought a run would do me good. Felt out of breath and sore legs. Need to do some stretching. Suspect I might be a bit dehydrated as it's winter and drinking less water but working out.

Not my best run, but at least I clock thirty moms for the day.

Do you prefer the treadmill over running outside? !LUV

Nooooo I obvs prefer the outside. This was my norm up until a month ago. I used to live in a beach town bu to moved. New place in the middle of a busy suburb, no clear paths and busy roads. and not super safe for a lady to be running by herself. I could drive to a nearby park and run, but after having the best scene on my doorstep to run as far as I want, I feel it's lame to drive just to run around a track in the middle of a busy city. Do lesser of the evils, I'll be lame at home on my treadmill. And also more convenient for work. Take a drive out on the weekend to old muizenberg and do a long run! Shoo, I'm sure you were not expecting my life story!

Well done on completing a run even though you weren't at your best

Its a balancing act sometimes, working out when to run and when to rest. I know some people who do some training nearly everyday of the week, and kudos to them, but I'd rather have clear defined rest days.

Part of running regularly is getting a feel for your body, and knowing the days you can push harder, and the days when you take it easy

Yeah, switched to Treadmil running as I moved and and a bit more convenient in the week. But miss that natural rhythm thing your body just does to adjust when you outside. Keen to hit the outside on the weekend...
