Hello my fellow hivians in the community.
Season greeting to everyone,this my first post on this community and I hope you are going to enjoy it as you go through it,In a heartfelt of thanks I really want to appreciate @sports-gov ,@sportstalksocial and @cryptoandsport for creating this wonderful platform for sport lovers like me to share knowledge ,ideas and updates on sports.
My writing is inspired by the late founder of American football,of which most of us know little about him.He was called WALTER CAMP,he eventually turned the rugby sport rules to what we know as football that was in the early days of 1880s.

From 1880s to 1956,the striving power of football was all about playing, winning and getting trophy for the club and nothing for the players. In the early hours of 1956,a french reporter by name GABRIEL HANOT saw it deemed to appreciate the various players who performed well in the competition at the end of it.the trophy was designed and made in France way, it’s was made up of about 18 carat art which was approximately higher than 3000 euros, with the name of the winner engraved on it.the award was seen as the most highest recognition to the best player of the previous season.if it was a solid gold ball it would have been sold around 1.5 million dollars mmmmm that’s a huge sum of money 😏😏😏.
Since from the existence of the award, 56 of it has been given out to various players across:
Argentina, Brazil, England,France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Spain and Ukraine, with France, Argentina, Germany,Portugal and Netherland having(7) seven of the trophy while Brazil,England Italy having (5) five each and the likes of Spain and Ukraine having (3)three each.
-Worthy to note that the first player who lifted that prestigious award was Stanley Mathews who by then played for Blackpool side of England.

-Ronaldo is the award youngest recipient, who got the award at the age of 20. Years old in 1996 and the oldest player was 33 in the year 2006 before the French karim Benzema got it at the age of 34 for the 2022 section.
-The most recipient awardee is Lionel Messi of Argentina who got seven of it and seconded by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fifa honors the winner with a customized boot designed with a bathed gold wax....Karim Benzema uses his own last night of which he scored a goal.
