An Exciting Match with a sad ending!

Hi friends! How are you all? Hope you all are well. Sri Lanka has come to Bangladesh for a full tour of 3 t20s, 3 Odi and 2 tests. Yesterday was the first match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

It was the first t20 and Sri Lanka have barely managed to win it. Recently the BPL has ended. So all the good performers were in the team. The toss was won by the Bangladesh and the Captain Najmul Hossian Shanto decided to bowl first.

It was proved to be a good decision as Shoriful picked up a wicket at the 2nd ball of the match. Within the 6 overs of powerplay, Bangladesh was able to pick up 2 wickets.

But then, it was all about Sri Lanka. They keep on playing, and finished on 206 runs only losing one wicket later. Asalanka hit six 6's in his 21 ball 44 cameo!

The start of batting for Bangladesh was very bad. Within the powerplay 3 wickets were back to the pavilion. Towhid Hridoy, who was a better batter in BPL, failed also. The hope of winning the match was gone to be honest. Captain also failed to score quick runs and was out.

Sri Lanka was sure of making Bangladesh lose the match.

Mahmudullah was back in the t20 squad after 2022,and proved that old is gold. Before getting out, he scored 54 runs. Yet, none would believe the match to go as deep and as much runs to be scored by Bangladesh.

But Bangladesh Managed to cross 200 runs and take the match to the last ball because of the effort of the young blood Jaker Ali. He scored 68 runs of which 52 came from his 4 fours and 6 sixes. He got out at the 3rd ball of the final over, and the hope of winning the match was gone.

Finally Bangladesh lost having scored 203 runs. But that was never in the dream of anyone, if it was not for the new player Jaker. It was a exciting game to watch. But would enjoy it even more if my country would have won.
