Physical education is an education that is studied in primary education, secondary education, and tertiary education, but in tertiary education, it becomes physical and health education and is split into two parts: health education and physical education. Both are in the same department, but you can choose to focus on one at the tertiary level. Although their causes are similar, the little difference is that health education basically studies the health and wealth of any kind of human that does physical education, and not just that alone; they know what to give when doing a particular sport and in case of injury. Health educators work at medical offices; you can call them mini doctors because they know everything about first aid and can apply it well. They will only refer you to any hospital if what they are doing passes for first aid.

In any sports organization, you will definitely see health educators; without them, it's not possible to hold any sports, especially combat sports like boxing, taekwondo, karate, judo, and so on.
On the other hand, physical education deals with movements of your body, which require your cognitive and psychomotor domains. The psychomotor domain deals with your movements, reactions, and so on. Basically, I will say that physical education deals with more sporting activities.
It is good to know that all these physical fitness activities were divided into two in the schools; perhaps we can call them components because any kind of activity you wish to do will depend on these two components, which are aerobic exercise and anerobic exercise. The only difference between aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise is that aerobic training uses oxygen, while anaerobic training is without oxygen. You will need more oxygen, and it requires strength, power, coordination, discipline, and self-control. Examples are running, swimming, boxing, and so on. But anerobic exercise is more intense but shorter because it's without oxygen.

  • Did I do physical education when I was in high school?
Yes, I did physical education when I was in primary and secondary school; in fact, that was what I studied at the university level, but it's called human kinetics. I love physical education because it's based on sporting activities, and all my life has been sports. Sport is my life, and that's what I do all the time. I never get tired of doing it, and I only get sick if I do not do it. So basically, I can do a lot of sports: swimming, badminton, boxing, table tennis, hockey, and so on. But then I have a particular sport in which I'm a professional and have achieved a lot. That is taekwondo. Taekwondo is my sport, and I've got more than 9 years of experience in it, so basically, I'm a coach, and I have a lot of students. When I was in university, I trained a lot of people, and they all represented my school and came out with flying colors. I've represented my school. in a taekwondo competition before, and this is one of the reasons my school still remembers it to this day.

  • One of my memorable moments in physical education

Actually, I've had a lot of memorable moments in physical education; I can't remember all, but the first memorable day was the day I went to a taekwondo competition and competed with other schools. When I came back to my school, I was honored by all my lecturers, and I was given so many things. That day was the first time I received a standing ovation from all my lecturers.

Another memorable moment was the day I was given an award for my sporting activity and was named the best sportsman in the university. That day was one I won't forget in my life because I was so emotional and felt so good at the same time.

  • Did that moment teach me something?

Yes, it teaches me a lot of things. One is that doing at all is doing well, and I never regret going to school to study physical education, and till this moment I'm happy I'm fit and training people to be fit. And I'm presently serving in a sports academy that values sports a lot. My wish is to always bring out the best in me and bring up young athletes too.

With physical education as a degree, I heard you can eventually study further to be a physical therapist, do you have any ideas on that?

Man, this is very beautiful. I really admire the work you as it plays a major role in our lives. I remember in Jhs I never missed PE class because that was the only time we got to have some fun.😅

Hmm, see as he broke it down for us novices so we can understand 😀 that was fantastic and that is how it ought to be for someone who studied it as a course. What wonderful memories to reminisce on.
