I maintain a certain weight for some reasons

There are lots of factors that cause individuals to either gain weight or lose weight. Some lose weight to stay fit because they are increasing a lot, and some add weight because they look so thin.
I happen to be a gym instructor. And of course, I know a lot about adding or losing weight. There are some benefits to losing weight.

When you lose weight, you won't have anything like heart disease. Because your heart will be functioning so well and your blood will be moving the way it should in the body, you will also have low blood pressure. Losing weight means you will be free of fat, and there's no way you will have high blood pressure. Furthermore, you will be able to lift yourself, whether you need to run or do anything. You will find it so easy to do.
Losing weight has lots of benefits. There was a time when a client came to me and complained that she got tired easily and got sick more often. I realized that she has too much fat, which disturbs her. I gave her exercise to lose weight, and she became so fit.
Also, getting fat is not a bad idea insofar as we aren't obese. When someone is too thin, it doesn't make sense, so sometimes we need to get some fat in our bodies to make us look good. More energy, and we won't look like we aren't fed well.

Here is my story about gaining and losing weight.

Being an athlete and a coach, I have no choice but to lose some weight. I maintain a certain weight because I'm a sportsman and a taekwondo fighter. Because of this, I need to watch my weight all the time. For some years back, I was fighting at -58kg. That was the category I needed to belong to, and I made sure to maintain that weight for so many years. Anything that will make me reach 60kg will make me fight another category, which I won't want to do. To avoid that, I keep training every day. How do I maintain my weight after so many years?
Firstly, I make sure I train at least five times a week, not every day. I engaged myself in a lot of strenuous exercise. And I eat less; this was how I got to maintain 58 kg for years.

What are the benefits of losing weight?

I look so much younger than my age and I love the fact the I look small. Training every day means a lot to me, and I'm already addicted to it. The last time I stopped training, I got stuck, and then I realized that I should continue no matter what. I gained a lot while maintaining that weight, I must say.

Why I needed to add some weight

But then it's been so long since I competed, and I think I should add up my weight a little bit; presently, I'm on 60kg. My siblings complained that I looked so thin. If you do not mind, I should add it up. I'm presently on a journey to add weight, even if it's just two or three kg. So I can look a bit big and not too big.

All the pictures use in this post was mine and was taken by my phone

Here is my little story about add or gaining weights

Your own is good. Your body system allows you to control the gain and loss.
