What will happen with the Dallas Cowboys secondary? After being rattled with injuries the Dallas Cowboys will rely on the youth of this team to carry the load. There are also some concerns with the interior line and the team's inability to stop the run, the defensive backfield has even more uncertainty due to injuries. While injuries have plagued the unit, head coach Brian Schottenheimer believes it could be a blessing in disguise, because the team will get a better look at some of the younger players and those brought in during the offseason, like former first-round pick Kaiir Elam, who the team acquired from the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick and 2026 seventh-round pick. Lets hope this philosophy works! We NEED them to perform at a high level to complete this unit.
