His guys.
This week in football came with amazing results around the globe. From England to Spain to Germany to France to Italy all over Europe.
I would like to begin this session, my first session in this community, by sharing what went around in the game of football this week.

The under-17 female world came to an end today.

Nigeria's falconets have never made it this far in the competition. This year, they pulled through the semi-finals where they were edged out by Colombia in a penalty shootout.

Returning to the third-place match against Germany, the engine room of football in the globe, the ladies played all three and went head to head in a penalty shootout where they came tops.

The final match played between Spain and Colombia almost ended in a nil draw before Colombia conceded its own goal which saw Spain defend the trophy. The first time a defending champion will hook it again.

Adidas medals were shared among Colombia, Germany, and Spain respectively for the most valuable player, highest goal scorer, and best goalkeeper.

Giorgio Infantino, the FIFA president was present at the final and presented the gold trophy to the winner of the Mundial.

The 2022 world cup at Qatar will surely be filled with a lot of excitement as teams will come prepared to take the trophy. I will not be surprised to see an underrated team taking the most envied trophy in the world instead of Belgium, France, Germany or Brazil.

In another sphere of surprise, Liverpool football club fell to the knife of an underrated team, Leed United at home. The second goal and the winner for the day came in at the 89th minute which sealed the day for Liverpool.

The humiliation for the day was for Chelsea FC. Three goals came into Chelsea's net in the first half. It was the first defeat for Graham Potter at the bridge and it came as a serious whooping.

This season has been fair for any team. All teams came prepared at the beginning as usual but did not follow up on their threats. Brighton swept past Chelsea with so much ease, scoring four beautiful goals.

Arsenal have been on a streak this season. I envy the way they have played. The addition of Jesus Gabriel has made that team a formidable one. Their last win over Nottingham Forest registered a lot of memories. The game ended in 5:0 against the away team, giving them a two point lead against their closes rival, Manchester City. My only fear is that Arsenal has not been good with keeping medals. Between now and December is going to be an appraisal for the team that may likely clinch the English Premier League.

And to all the guys who have retired from active football on the pitch, now taking in managerial jobs in their former clubs of play, Gerard, Xavi, Patrick Viera and others, I want to say that your coming over is a plus for football all over the world.

It gives this generation of players the push to be disciplined and ready to take the role later in their career.
