2020 Eifel GP Champion Lewis Hamilton equals Michael Schumacher's winning streak and draws closer to F1 World Title
Good night all. Mercedes racer, Lewis Hamilton, is getting stronger at the top of the Formula 1 racing standings, aka F1 2020. Lewis Hamilton again made a sweet result when he appeared in the F1 GP Eifel 2020 race which took place in Nurburgring, Germany. In the 60-lap race, Hamilton was able to outperform Max Verstappen from the Red Bull team who finished second. This victory earned Hamilton the right to get an additional 25 points and further left his teammate, Valtteri Bottas, in second place in the standings.
After the completion of the F1 GP Eifel 2020 series, Lewis Hamilton collected a total of 230 points and he is getting closer to his seventh world title. The British racer is now 69 points ahead of Valtteri Bottas who won the result of failing to finish, aka did not finish (DNF) in this week's race. Under the duo Mercedes there is Max Verstappen with 147 points or only 14 points behind Bottas. The fourth place is occupied by Renault racer, Daniel Ricciardo, who performed quite nicely in the 2020 Eifel F1 GP race.
By finishing third in the race at the Nurburgring, Daniel Ricciardo has now collected 78 points. Apart from the driver category, Mercedes is also dominant in the F1 2020 constructors' standings. In total, the Silver Arrow team has collected 391 points. Mercedes left their closest competitor, Red Bull, in second place by 180 points.
