Alexander Lacazette became the Premier League's first goal scorer when the game had been running for eight minutes. Arsenal's second goal came thanks to Willian's low ball headed by Gabriel and the ball slid between Marek Rodak's legs while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's third showed his composure and sharpness to score the third in the 57th minute.

With the 3-0 victory automatically led Arsenal to the top of the standings. Meanwhile Fulham are at the bottom of the temporary table.
