Comenzaron los encuentros por los cuartos de final de la Copa del Rey; en esta fase de la competición, la eliminatoria será a partido único y es por eso que los equipos participantes deben dar el todo lo que tengan para poder avanzar a semifinales en dónde si habrá tanto partidos de ida como de vuelta.

En esta oportunidad me refiero al encuentro que disputó en el Spotify Camp Nou, el FC Barcelona y la Real Sociedad; uno líder de La Liga y el otro que está en el tercer puesto de la máxima competencia del fútbol español; con estas características no había duda de que este sería un partido emocionante. Para este juego, el DT del Barça, Xavi Hernández, hizo hacer jugar a su equipo de gala; repitió la alineación que disputó y ganó la final de la Supercopa de España contra el Real Madrid; nuevamente usó el esquema 4-2-3-1 en dónde nuevamente Gavi estaría por la zona izquierda aunque en esta oportunidad su rol sería defensivo. Por parte del club visitante, su entrenador, Alguacil Barrenetxea, jugaría con una línea de 4 defensores, en el medio campo formó un rombo con Zubimendi cómo mediocampistas por delante de la defensa, dos interiores, Pablo Marín por izquierda y Brais Méndez por derecha y Kubo como enganche; delante de ellos dos delanteros, Sørloth y Oyarzabal.

Esta eliminatoria junto al partido de mañana entre Real Madrid vs. Atlético de Madrid era de las que quería ver por qué justamente al enfrentarse estos equipos que están en lo alto de la tabla pueden brindar emoción hasta el último minuto. En este juego se veía las ganas y el convencimiento del club blaugrana de ganar y eso fue implementando desde los primeros minutos del juego en dónde el ímpetu y la calidad de Ousmane Dembélé, empujó a sus compañeros a atacar y presionar a su rival, eso en la parte ofensiva, pero justamente esa función del habilidoso extremo pudo ser gracias al trabajo de varios de sus compañeros, por ejemplo de Busquets, De Jong, Kounde, Araujo y Gavi, el cual para mí fue el más sacrificado y uno (junto al francés) de los jugadores más valiosos de este encuentro; su función en este encuentro fue tapar a Zubimendi el cual en mi opinión es el jugador más valioso de la Real Sociedad, el número 3 dictamina los hilos del juego de Alguacil y al estar completamente tapado, era de esperar que más ninguno otro cumpliera con esa función y de ahí existió un descontrol del equipo visitante el cual se vio perdido por casi todo el primer tiempo a pesar de tener una ocasión muy clara en dónde Kubo estrelló su chute en el paral superior del arco defendido por ter Stegen.

En el encuentro hubo factores que interrumpieron el buen juego que estaba practicando el Barça en el primer tiempo; uno fue las constantes quejas de algunos jugadores de la Real Sociedad cuando iban al choque con Lewandoski, pidiendo al árbitro principal que amoneste al delantero polaco; eso hizo que por momentos existiera una animosidad entre los jugadores en especial por parte de Brais Méndez que había cometido duras faltas y no había recibido amonestación, pero si advertencias y justamente en una falta que ese jugador le comentó a Busquets es cuando es amonestado con tarjeta roja y deja a su equipo con 10 jugadores faltando 50 minutos por disputar; eso hizo que el segundo tiempo la Sociedad jugará de una manera diferente en dónde debió formar una línea de 5 defensores y otra de cuatro, pero con una característica que no estaban muy atrás y eso les dio varias posibilidades para llegar al arco defendido por ter Stegen.

Al final el Barcelona pudo imponer calidad y eso fue gracias al único gol del encuentro conseguido por Dembélé el cual tuvo una noche fantástica en el Spotify Camp Nou; un pase largo de Kounde hacia Ousmane fue suficiente para que el "7" culé en velocidad dejara atrás a su defensor y viendo lo dubitativo del portero Remiro, decidió chutar fuerte al primer palo y de esa manera conseguiría el merecido gol que le daría el pase a semifinales al equipo de Xavi; este es el tercer encuentro consecutivo en dónde el Barça gana un juego con tan solo anotar un gol y creo que es algo que deben trabajar aún más porque eso siempre deja la puerta abierta a los rivales de no solo tener oportunidades para empatar el juego, sino también de ganarlo y por eso creo que a pesar del claro dominio del encuentro, esto en realidad no fue total porque los fallos en la definición de los delanteros de la Real Sociedad junto a otra gran actuación de ter Stegen, es que el Barcelona está en semifinales de la Copa del Rey; así que no todo es perfecto aunque no hay duda de que este equipo está transitando el camino correcto.
