El FC Barcelona domina a su gran rival en la final de la Supercopa de España y consigue ganar un importante título del fútbol español que estadísticamente se convirtió en el primer título para este club desde la llegada de Xavi y de la marcha de Messi.

En el encuentro por La Liga entre el Atlético de Madrid y FC Barcelona; Xavi Hernández el cual se ha destacado por darle mucha importancia a los extremos por ambas bandas, decidió usar a Pedri cómo extremo izquierdo en lo que originalmente era el esquema 4-3-3; en ese difícil juego, el club azulgrana a pesar de obtener la victoria sufrió mucho por las muchas perdidas de balón y la poca actitud del equipo lo cual fue algo que se vio en el primer juego post mundial en dicho torneo, como también en los dieciseisavos de final en la Copa del Rey y en el segundo tiempo de la semifinal de la Supercopa vs. Betis; justamente ese era el factor que se debería superar para poder enfrentar esta final; ahora, volviendo a la referencia que hice en dónde Xavi usó a 4 mediocampistas, esa idea nuevamente se volvería a usar, pero con otro esquema al 4-3-3; en esta oportunidad el esquema fue 4-2-3-1 en dónde tres centrales junto a un veloz y potente lateral izquierdo formarían la línea de 4 defensores; Busquets y Frenkie de Jong sería el doble pivote, Dembélé, Pedri y Gavi la línea de tres creadores y Robert Lewandoski cómo único atacante; en mi opinión este equipo es el más balanceado que ha presentado este club.

Del equipo anteriormente descrito, en mi opinión es el más balanceado que he visto y eso lo tomo por la naturalidad y calma que tuvo Sergio Busquets quien dispuesto los 90 minutos de juego y es que tener a de Jong a su lado y detrás de él a jugadores como Araujo, Kounde y Christensen le da tranquilidad para tomar decisiones sin la necesidad de estar siempre entre los centrales para desde ahí tratar de dirigir al equipo, eso también libera a jugadores como Frenkie que tiene la posibilidad de usar su potencia y velocidad para presionar y romper líneas siempre son una mentalidad ofensiva y eso ayuda a que el equipo al adelantar líneas haciendo que su rival se mantenga muy atrás; eso hace que el equipo sea compacto y que la circulación del balón sea mucho mejor, pero lo relevante del juego de hoy a pesar de lo antes descrito fue el uso de Gavi en este esquema; muchos dicen que jugó de extremo y en mi opinión fue un mediocampista mixto en dónde la velocidad y ferocidad de su juego permitió que esa zona por la izquierda del ataque azulgrana se convirtiera tan determinante que los tres goles conseguidos por el Barça, el joven jugador y actual Golden Boy fue determinante, ya que anotó y asistió primeramente a Lewandoski y después a Pedri para así cerrar o coronar la gran actuación de todo el equipo el cual disputó su mejor juego en la temporada y que significo el primer título para este cuerpo técnico el cual ha ilusionado a muchos seguidores de este club. No hay ninguna duda de que el Barcelona dominó a su rival y en parte se libra de la presión de ganar un título el cual se le hizo esquivo por casi dos años y es por eso que al ser ganador de la Supercopa tengan relevancia para estos jugadores que tienen la necesidad de sentirse que están haciendo un buen trabajo y que a pesar de duras derrotas, saben que pueden estar transitando un camino que pueda brindarle muchas más alegrías; habrá que esperar a que influyente es este título en lo que queda de temporada y así en realidad saber que tan bien trabajo hace Xavi con este equipo.
