Liverpool y Chelsea dieron un espectáculo en la final de la EFL Cup en dónde los del Klopp salieron campeones

Hoy fue un gran día para el fútbol; en la final de la "English Football League Cup" (EFL Cup), también conocida como "Carabao Cup", se enfrentaron dos de los mejores equipos del mundo, El Chelsea vs. Liverpool, dos equipos fuertes, con gran peso en todas las líneas del campo aunque en su juego de ataque es donde podemos encontrar toda la atracción, ya que en cada uno de estos clubes encontramos muy buenos atacantes, jugadores que entran en esa lista privilegiada de los mejores del mundo, a esto debo anexar que ambos clubes están dirigidos por dos estrategas alemanes que viven y sienten el fútbol de manera muy especial.

Para este juego, Tuchel no quería problemas y por eso decidió tener un ataque rápido y por eso salió con el tridente de ataque formado por Mount-Havertz-Pulisic, personalmente pienso que estos jugadores les da más importancia al esquema 3-4-3 que usa el Chelsea, hay más dinamismo, rapidez y siempre existe el relevo de sus carrileros y claro que tener a Cante en sus filas es un plus porque su condición física y su visión de juego ayuda mucho al equipo; por parte del Liverpool, Klopp tuvo un inconveniente antes de comenzar el juego por la lesión de Thiago Alcántara y por eso decidió dar entrada a Keïta quien acompañaría a Fabinho y Henderson en el medio del campo, a pesar del cambio de último momento el Liverpool no tuvo problema para jugar, más que nada en el primer tiempo porque este medio campo creo el balance para que Robertson y Alexander-Arnold subieran al ataque y asistir tanto a Salah, Mané y Luis Díaz.

Los primeros 45 minutos fueron del equipo de Klopp, dominaron el partido, fueron muy peligrosos, fue tanto la presión que sobraron la marca de Kovačić y Kante y por eso tuvieron ocasiones que fueron detenidas por el que considero el mejor portero del mundo en la actualidad, Édouard Mendy, ahora esto no evitaría que el Chelsea no tuviera claras ocasiones porque a pesar del ataque constante del Liverpool, frustrado por la actuación del portero senegales, el tridente de ataque del equipo azul de Londres liderado por Havertz, tuvieron una ocasión muy clara que sorprendentemente falló Mount y en ese momento pensé que si ese gol lo anotan el delantero inglés significaría un duro golpe para su rival porque pienso que por todos esos 45 minutos de juego y a pesar de su dominio, no pudieron cambiar el marcador a favor de su equipo; eso le dió oportunidad para que el Chelsea levantará el nivel sin importar que se estuviera en los minutos finales del primer tiempo y les dió la noción de lo que resta de partido pudiera inclinarse a favor y así conseguir otro título más.

El segundo tiempo fue claramente para los de Tuchel, en esta oportunidad los ataques del Chelsea por las bandas eran más constantes, eso gracias al gran sacrificio tanto de Azpilicueta y Marcos Alonso que superaron en esta oportunidad al tridente del Liverpool en el mediocampo, tal vez la inactividad de Keïta afectó su desempeño porque en el segundo tiempo se vio más cansado y lento y creo que por eso tanto Henderson, Fabinho, Luis Díaz y Mané tuvieron que sacrificarse más de lo debido y eso parece que los fue consumiendo porque para ser sincero este juego muy dinámico tanto en ataque como en defensa, el Chelsea se veía mejor y por eso el equipo de Tuchel pudo atacar mejor y hasta en momentos hizo protagonista al portero irlandés, Kelleher, pero hubo otro protagonista más y ese fue el cuerpo arbitral tanto los que están en el campo como en el VAR, decisiones tal vez polémicas decidieron que el juego se mantuviera con el marcador con un empate a cero en los 90 minutos, para mí todas decisiones acertadas a pesar de que hubo quejas sobre señalizaciones de fuera de juego en dónde un jugador estaba adelantado por milímetros (por así decirlo), pero para ser sincero, mientras más justo es el VAR, para mí es mejor.
