"Merseyside is Red" [ESP|ENG]

El día de hoy se llevó a cabo el Derby de Merseyside el cual se enfrentan los clubes de la ciudad de Liverpool, Everton FC y Liverpool FC. En esta temporada este derby tiene una extraña o simple particularidad y es que ambos clubes tiene una actualidad la cual les hace enfocarse en diferentes metas porque en esta temporada ninguno tiene posibilidad de ganar ninguno de los títulos que se disputan en Inglaterra; solamente el equipo de Klopp tiene una posibilidad de seguir en la UCL sí en los octavos de final derrota al actual campeón de esa competición, al Real Madrid.

Hace días atrás escribí sobre cómo en la jornada anterior de la Premier League, tanto Everton como Liverpool mostraron diferentes caras con respecto a cómo les fue en sus respectivos encuentros; el equipo azul obtuvo una importante victoria de local al derrotar al Arsenal, en el estreno de Dyche cómo nuevo entrenador de los Toffees, en cambio, el equipo rojo obtuvo otro derrota más que hace más difícil de alcanzar la meta de esta temporada y esa es alcanzar uno de los cuatro o seis primeras posiciones en la clasificación; ahora por el sorteo o cosas del destino, ambos clubes los cuales compartes una gran y apasionada rivalidad, deberían enfrentarse, teniendo cada uno la oportunidad de hacer más dura está competición para quien caiga derrotado.

Sé que ver un Derby el cual se enfrenta un equipo que está en el puesto de mitad de tabla y otro en puestos de descenso no es para nada atractivo, pero no hay duda de que la expectativa está más que nada enfocada en el equipo de Klopp y es que en esta parte de la temporada es necesario que tenga una reacción positiva para hacer frente a los únicos compromisos deportivos que le quedan. Cómo todos sabemos, la dinámica del Liverpool no es la mejor, ya que tanto las lesiones como la baja calidad futbolística ha afectado a ese equipo y eso deja a Klopp a realizar un gran trabajo en hacer funcionar al equipo en defensa, creación y ataque con los jugadores disponibles y hoy fue una jornada positiva porque todo funcionó adecuadamente.

I know that watching a Derby in which a team that is in the mid-table position and another in relegation is not at all attractive, but there is no doubt that the expectation is mostly focused on Klopp's team and in this part of the season it is necessary that they have a positive reaction to face the only sporting commitments they have left. As we all know, Liverpool's dynamic is not the best, as both injuries and low soccer quality have affected the team and that leaves Klopp to do a great job in making the team work in defense, creation and attack with the available players and today was a positive day because everything worked properly.

Con respecto al equipo titular del Liverpool quiero hacer referencia al tridente de ataque, el cual estuvo formado por Darwin Nuñez por izquierda, Gakpo por el medio y Salah por derecha; primeramente me sorprendió ver al uruguayo por esa zona del ataque, ya que preferiblemente siempre es visto como un delantero centro y en los primeros minutos del juego eso fue evidente porque le costó luchar con la defensa del Everton y eso fue otra cosa que me sorprendió (para mal) porque Darwin es un delantero habituado a estar siempre en contacto con sus rivales y verlo perder por momentos el posicionamiento en esa zona no me pareció algo bueno para él, ni mucho menos para el equipo. Con respecto a Gakpo, creo que le costó al principio poder encajar en esa posición y eso hizo que siguiera demostrando lo poco influyente en este equipo, de igual manera sucede con Salah el cual está pasando por su peor temporada en la Premier League, su falta de confianza demuestra una calidad muy baja al momento de jugar, pero como todos sabemos, el fútbol depende del estado de ánimo y cuando todo sale bien, así sea una jugada de contraataque que termine en un gol a favor, es cuando todo encaja y tiene sentido.


El Liverpool supo defender la muy poca ofensiva de uno de los equipos que están demostrando un nivel muy bajo en la Premier League; en la pasada jornada destaqué el esquema 4-5-1 usado por Dyche contra el Arsenal porque taparon todas las vías de juego y en el Derby contra el Liverpool lo intentaron nuevamente, pero la concentración no fue la mejor y es que en esta oportunidad, el Everton esperó muy atrás así rival, tan atrás que tanto Alexander-Arnold cómo Robertson jugaron de extremos abriendo las posibilidades de juego para su equipo, pero a pesar de eso, del dominio insípido del Liverpool, el primer gol del encuentro no fue causa de la alta posesión del balón; el primer gol llegó por la vía de un contraataque el cual comenzó Salah, quien asistió a Darwin el cual corrió por la zona izquierda para después asistir al jugador egipcio quien anotó el segundo gol del Liverpool en el 2023 (refiriéndome a la Premier League).

El segundo tiempo fue igual al primero; el Everton nunca propuso nada y es que jugar tan atrás le restó posibilidad de poder atacar en búsqueda del empate y en mi opinión eso repercutió en todo el equipo el cual defendió mal, ya que nuevamente los laterales en su función de extremos ayudaron a aumentar el marcador a su favor y eso fue gracias al primer gol de Gakpo portando la camiseta del Liverpool; de esa manera se cerró un encuentro que esperaba más emoción por parte del Everton porque tenía una gran oportunidad de hundir más a su rival de ciudad, pero a causa del mal trabajo tanto de los jugadores como el nuevo entrenador son quienes siguen una jornada más en puestos de descenso. El Liverpool hizo un trabajo correcto en el ataque, mantuvieron la posesión del balón, pero no fue un equipo contundente; lo otro es que su defensa sigue creando dudas, ya que al subir sus dos laterales tan arriba y contar con sus dos centrales y un mediocampista en el centro del campo, no da confianza al momento de querer frenar a un equipo que le guste contraatacar como lo es por ejemplo el Real Madrid y es que al ver este derby no dejaba de pensar en el posible desempeño de este club en la una competición en dónde pueden ganar un título y en mi opinión no veo al equipo de Klopp ganar al de Ancelotti.
