"Mi Equipo..." [ESP/ENG]

A una semana para el comienzo del mundial en Qatar; las selecciones participantes dan a conocer la lista de los 26 jugadores que serán parte de la máxima competición de fútbol en el mundo; este primer paso hacia el máximo torneo del fútbol y que debería generar ilusión, al final lo que ha creado son disyuntivas, polémicas y enojos en periodistas deportivos, aficionados y por supuesto en jugadores.

La convocatoria a diferentes torneos de selecciones se han convertido en un tema que primeramente era un debate sobre qué jugadores pueden entrar en la lista, cuáles no deberían estar y cuáles otros no deben estar; una opinión valedera sobre lo que cada quien piensa que es lo mejor para su selección, lo más adecuado porque al final cada quien quiere ganar y por eso desea que los mejores jugadores de sus países sean quienes los representen en competiciones importantes, pero pregunto ¿Esto es así? ¿Queremos que los mejores estén en la selección o los jugadores a quienes somos fans? Estas dos preguntas pienso que son importantes al momento de leer críticas sobre las convocatorias y es lo que crea un nuevo debate donde al manejar una matriz de opinión ocurre una imposición al cuerpo técnico de diferentes selecciones y por presión de diferentes medios como prensa y directivos, se convocan a jugadores que al final no aportan absolutamente nada; personalmente siempre tomo por ejemplo a selecciones cómo la Argentina y España, que en muchos años han Sido víctimas de una guerra entre el periodismo, directiva, jugadores y entrenadores sobre quien debe aceptar o no una convocatoria y justamente al crear una tonta guerra de poderes se afecta no solo el desempeño de una selección sino la felicidad del aficionado y se puede pensar que es algo tonto, pero la ilusión de cada persona que quiere ver la selección de su país ganar, nunca debería pasar desapercibido.

En las convocatorias a este mundial he visto que existe unanimidad en la mayoría de las convocatorias; creo que pases que son muy críticos con sus jugadores y sus selecciones como son México, Inglaterra, España y Argentina; son las que más he visto críticas, pero a la vez aceptación al grupo de que fue convocado; esto más que nada a la selección campeona de América liderada por Scaloni, en dónde la baja de "Angelito Correa" trajo tristeza en los aficionados porque el delantero del Atlético de Madrid estuvo con ese grupo en muchos partidos; creo que justamente al tener una racha positiva de victorias y un título; los periodistas argentinos no tendrán mucho que decir aunque estoy completamente seguro de que si llegan a fallar la selección albiceleste, ahí saldrán culpables, quien no debió estar en la lista y quién si, Messi no es líder y es mejor cambiar de DT; la misma agende de siempre. Con el seleccionado de México ocurre al contrario, las críticas están desde hace tiempo y estoy seguro de que a muchos no les gusta su selección o así lo ha hecho ver la maquinaria periodística deportiva que tiene ese país y no defiendo el trabajo de Martino frente a la selección "Tri", sino que existe mucha presión y necesidad de ver fallar a México para que un sector pueda decir que tuvieron la razón.

Con respecto a Europa, a pesar de leer alguna que otra queja con la convocatoria hecha Van Gaal de algunos jugadores como Daley Blind que junto a Lukk De Jong es de los más experimentados en Países Bajos, no hay duda de que la selección inglesa y española son las más criticadas; por ejemplo Gareth Southgate, entrenador del seleccionado de Inglaterra, decide convocar al muy criticado Maguaire del ManUtd y dejar fuera al defensor titular del AC Milan, Fikayo Tomori o no convocar a Tammy Abraham, delantero titular de la AS Roma o a Ivan Toney, también delantero jugador del Brentford y que actualmente está de tercero en la tabla de posiciones de goleadores de la Premier League; hay que decir que Southgate prefirió convocar a Grealish del ManCity. La selección de España es otro nivel; creo que en todo el mundo, ninguna selección ha creado tanta polémica por su convocatoria como la que realizó Luis Enrique; desde hace un año, antes de la Eurocopa, junto a las eliminatorias y la disputa de la UEFA Nations League, siempre tengo que leer las quejas de aficionados de clubes y de periodistas aficionados de clubes quejarse del porqué no se convoca a este jugador o al otro y en mi opinión es molesto porque se ve que es adrede, tanto por parte de la prensa como del cuerpo técnico y lógicamente eso crea una gran división entre parte de la afición y el seleccionado.

En el mundo del fútbol, cualquier persona puede emitir una opinión sobre si les gusta o no ciertos jugadores, entrenadores y demás; importa si es una opinión positiva o negativa sobre, por ejemplo, el tema que desarrollo en esta publicación, como es la lista convocatoria al Mundial de Qatar y esto es porque como he dicho, muchas personas desean que la selección de su país o la selección que quieren apoyar, esperan verla triunfar, verla ser campeona y por eso esperan que los mejores jugadores estén representando ese sueño. Todo esto que describo puede hacerse desde la objetividad, críticas, quejas, cualquier opinión debe hacerse desde la objetividad para crear un debate sano, no algo manipulado ni mucho menos populista, porque lamentablemente ese es la crítica que más he visto y es injustificada porque si algún entrenador no decide llevase a cierto jugador, es cierto que sus razones tendrá y también es cierto que debe expresar cuáles son esas razones, sin importar que si respuesta sea algo tan simple como "Él es importante para el grupo". Yo estoy a favor de las críticas constructivas, también estoy de acuerdo en el apoyo incondicional y solo espero que si un entrenador realiza una convocatoria, eso es porque los jugadores que ha llamado son lo que representa mejor la idea de su entrenador al momento de jugar que tienen ese DT y por eso esperaré para así criticar con validez a una selección, si juega mal, si un jugador no entona en ese esquema, si ese esquema es el mejor para la selección, cosas que en vez de culpar a un solo jugador será mejor señalar al entrenador que tomó la decisión de convocarlo y de hacerlo jugar de esa manera; por eso, ahora, en este momento no tiene mucha validez criticar una convocatoria ni mucho menos levantar la voz y decir "Si hubiera convocado a los jugadores que YO quería, si se hubiera ganado"; es mejor ser prudente, saber que puede o no aportar un jugador, saber cuándo será su mejor uso o dónde rinde más; criticar o debatir futbolísticamente y es que hay muchas cosas en que enfocarse desde la ilusión y el apoyo a una selección en vez de seguir una opinión que crea división en vez de unir en un solo deseó.

All this that I describe can be done from objectivity, criticism, complaints, any opinion should be done from objectivity to create a healthy debate, not something manipulated, much less populist, because unfortunately that is the criticism that I have seen the most and it is unjustified because if a coach does not decide to take a certain player, it is true that he will have his reasons and it is also true that he should express what those reasons are, regardless if the answer is something as simple as "He is important for the group". I am in favor of constructive criticism, I also agree in the unconditional support and I just hope that if a coach makes a call, that is because the players he has called are what best represents the idea of his coach at the time of playing that have that DT and therefore I will wait to criticize with validity to a selection, if he plays badly, if a player does not fit in that scheme, if that scheme is the best for the selection, things that instead of blaming a single player will be better to point to the coach who made the decision to call him and make him play in that way; that is why, now, at this moment, it is not very valid to criticize a call-up, much less raise your voice and say "If I had called up the players I wanted, we would have won"; it is better to be prudent, to know what a player can or cannot contribute, to know when he will be his best use or where he performs better; to criticize or discuss soccer and there are many things to focus on from the illusion and the support to a selection instead of following an opinion that creates division instead of uniting in a single desire.
