La selección de Alemania muestra su casta de campeona y consigue el pase hacia la gran final de la Eurocopa Femenina

El pasado miércoles se disputó la segunda semifinal de la Eurocopa Femenina entre las selecciones de Alemania y Francia; no había duda de que está sería una dura prueba para ambos equipos por la gran calidad y fuerza de las mujeres que conforman estas selecciones y justamente eso era una de las características que crearon altas expectativas de las personas que como yo han seguido este torneo en dónde la calidad del juego ha sido excelente y por eso esperaba que en esta semifinal hubiera una gran batalla entres 22 mujeres para citarse con la selección de Inglaterra en la final en Wembley.

Tanto Alemania como Francia dominaron sus grupos y tuvieron exigentes encuentros en los cuartos de final; Alemania se enfrentó a la selección de Austria que mantuvo sus posibilidades en seguir en competencia hasta el último momento, pero la necesidad de empatar el encuentro le abrió la puerta a una selección inteligente como es la germana y así caer por un marcador de 2 a 0; por parte de Francia en primer momento enfrento a una gran favorita, ya que Países Bajos era la actual campeona del torneo aunque en esta oportunidad el equipo tenía un cuerpo técnico diferente y pienso que la diferencia del trabajo disminuyó el impacto del juego del equipo neerlandés, pero a pesar de esos factores, en su enfrentamiento contra Francia hizo un respetable partido que solo tuvo la equivocación del penal en el tiempo extra que llevo a las francesas a otra fase más dentro de la Eurocopa. Ambos equipos son muy parecidos en estar conformados por jugadas experimentadas y otras jóvenes, presionan en el medio campo a su rival y son rápidas en el contraataque; las diferencias está en que las líderes de ambas selecciones están en puestos diferentes del campo, en Alemania está en la delantera y en Francia está en la defensa, pero existe otra notable e importante diferencia y es que la selección de Francia presenta jugadoras con un potente físico tanto en defensa como en ataque y eso fue un factor importante en esta semifinal y que solo pudo ser contrarrestado por la inteligencia y determinación del equipo Alemán; con lo anteriormente descrito era de esperar que este encuentro tuviera una constante exigencia para las dos selecciones, tanto física como mental y quién estuviera más concentrada, seguramente era quien llegaría a la gran final.

Siendo sincero creo que tenía mucho tiempo que no estaba cerca de presenciar una final en dónde dos equipos, fuertes, dominantes, con grandes jugadoras, deberían disputar una final; tanto Inglaterra como Alemania han enfrentado y dominado a la mayoría de sus rivales y esto lo digo porque no existe en la final ese equipo el cual se pueda considerar como "sorpresa"; ambas selecciones son las mejores y si había expectativas por encuentros como Inglaterra vs. España o Suecia, Alemania vs. Francia; sé que mayor expectativa habrá el próximo domingo cuando se enfrenten en Wembley, la Inglaterra de Beth Mead y la Alemania de Alexandra Popp; si son fanáticos del fútbol solo me queda a invitarlos a presenciar un gran encuentro entre estas dos selecciones que practican un gran fútbol y que son parte de uno de los mejores torneos que he visto de este hermoso deporte.
