En el Spotify Camp Nou se llevó a cabo el encuentro de vuelta por una de las dos semifinales de la Copa del Rey; un encuentro que generó grandes expectativas con respecto a si el campeón defensor del torneo pudiera nuevamente alcanzar la final si superaba a un gran rival, quien les derrotó en el encuentro de ida por un marcador de 4 goles a 0.

The second leg of one of the two Copa del Rey semifinals was played at Spotify Camp Nou, a match that generated high expectations as to whether the defending champions could reach the final again if they beat a great rival who had defeated them in the first leg by a score of 4-0.

El segundo encuentro de las semifinales de Copa del Rey, el club blaugrana presentó ciertas diferencias al equipo que cayó de manera contundente en su visita al Estadio Metropolitano; las principales fue el contar con dos piezas fundamentales como son Pedri y Raphinha y creo que no había duda que con ellos el Barça tenía muchas posibilidades de hacer otra remontada en ese estadio y justamente, la inclusión de ambos jugadores fue fundamental para generar esa esperanza en el aficionado culé de alcanzar otra final más, pero así como lamentablemente ha sucedido en el transcurso de la temporada, las lesiones tienen un problemático protagonismo lo cual resta calidad y es que en esta ocasión dos jugadores titulares y por supuesto relevantes para el Barça no serían parte del encuentro, me refiero a Frenkie de Jong y Robert Lewandoski, uno por una lesión muscular y otro por un traumatismo en el rostro, pero esas no serian las unicas bajas, ya que en la disputa del juego, tanto Jules Kounde como Balde caerían lesionados; justamente esas dos últimas lesiones, hicieron trastabillar el plan ideado por Flick para todo el partido.

A pesar de señalar las lesiones antes y mientras transcurría la segunda semifinal y, en mi opinión, considerarlas como un factor influyente en no conseguir la hazaña de la remontada, hubo otra a la que en mi opinión es la que considero como fundamental y que afectó al club catalán no solamente en ese encuentro, sino en muchos otros más, me refiero al pésimo rendimiento de los delanteros centros y es que jugadores como Lewandoski, Rashford y Ferrán, están teniendo una temporada nada placentera en las estadísticas de anotación, su desempeño en momentos es muy bajo y puede que excuse a Marcus que es notorio que no está en una estado óptimo físico en estos últimos encuentros, al igual que Robert quien como dije anteriormente fue víctima de un duro golpe que eliminó por completo su participación en la segunda semifinal, pero lo de Ferrán Torres es algo que enciende las alarmas y lo deja en evidencia como uno de los jugadores con peor rendimiento desde que comenzó la segunda parte de la temporada, ya que tan solo ha anotado 3 goles en 17 encuentros, en donde en 11 fue titular; pero volviendo a este último, si hubiera estado a nivel alto o tan solo a uno óptimo, estoy seguro de que el Barça jugaría una nueva final en la Copa del Rey.

Despite pointing out the injuries before and during the second semifinal and, in my opinion, considering them to be a factor in the failure to achieve the comeback, there was another factor that I consider to be fundamental and that affected the Catalan club not only in that match, but in many others. I am referring to the poor performance of the center forwards, with players such as Lewandowski, Rashford, and Ferrán are having a less than pleasant season in terms of scoring statistics. Their performance at times is very poor, and I can excuse Marcus, who is clearly not in optimal physical condition in these last few games, as well as Robert, who, as I said before, was the victim of a hard blow that completely eliminated his participation in the second semifinal. But Ferrán Torres' performance is something that sets off alarm bells and highlights him as one of the worst performers since the second half of the season began, as he has only scored three goals in 17 games, 11 of which he started. But going back to the latter, if he had been at a high level or even just at his best, I am sure that Barça would be playing in another Copa del Rey final.

En un encuentro que pudo ser considerado como predecible, ya que el resultado de ida invitaba a especular que el Atleti se iba a encerrar por completo cerca de su área, lo cual le ofrecería al Barça un pleno control del juego, algo que sucedió tal cual se esperaba y que tan solo había que observar cuál de los muchos jugadores ofensivos del Barça era quien rompiera todo molde, aunque se esperaba que fuese Yamal, la realidad es que fue Bernal quien rompió todo con su muy buen juego con los dos goles anotados, una grata e inesperada sorpresa, pero personalmente mis expectativas eran esperar la reacción de Ferrán Torres, quien sabe que debe aprovechar cada oportunidad brindada, pero que lamentablemente no esta al nivel exigido y eso ha afectado al equipo porque le disminuyó en una manera considerable la oportunidad de estar nuevamente en una final; es una lastima como un equipo completo entendió que estaba disputando un título y pensó en aprovechar la unica e última oportunidad, pero la comunión entre jugadores no fue plena y confiar tu delantera a alguien que posiblemente no este en un futuro es lo que mas lamento porque todavía falta por competir, pero si se sigue dependiendo de quienes no presenta un nievel alto, entoces el Barça pronto sufrirá otras decepciones más.

It's a shame that the whole team understood that they were competing for a title and thought about taking advantage of their one and only chance, but the communication between players was not complete, and entrusting your offense to someone who may not be there in the future is what I regret the most because there is still competition ahead. If they continue to depend on those who are not performing at a high level, then Barça will soon suffer more disappointments.
