Good Morning

Today was a breather being a Saturday, so I had a bit of time on my hands to go slow. Apparently, we might have clear skies for a week, which means a week of running. It was a bit warm in the morning compared to how it had been over the past month.

For a change, the roads were filled with fitness freaks. I think the dry break got them out. It is always good to have people around you – you never know who could end up motivating you. 😊

So, what did I do today?

Today I went for a longer run. I did eight kilometers, and I turned back because I was running out of time. Had I started earlier, I would have easily done around twelve kilometers. Anyway, that is not too far off. Soon, I will be back to running longer distances.

Home sweet home welcomed me with dumbbells. 😉 I focused on arms and abs today. I am pretty close to eight packs. Boy, would that be a fun look! After the weights, I went for a bike ride – nothing fancy, just to one of my favorite outlets for a cup of tea.

Did You Know?

Zydrunas Savickas of Lithuania holds the record for the Fastest Power Steps. Fastest power steps refers to the activity of carrying three 225 kg weights separately over a flight of five stairs in the quickest time.

Zydrunas carried the three weights over the five steps in 31.6 seconds. The record was set on 26th June 2014 in Milan, Italy.

Zydrunas also holds the title of 2014 World's Strongest Man. That's some enviable list of records! 😊
