People here are getting dogs at a ridiculous rate — not because they actually want a dog, but because they want to show off. Then they get tired of the responsibility, and boom: abandoned dog wandering the streets.
Honestly, five years ago, if I saw someone walking a dog in the park, I’d think, “Wow, fancy life!” I mean… small town, low bar.
Meanwhile, two generations before us — our grandparents — still believe dogs are najis, like spiritually dirty, and if you touch one you have to do a full ritual wash before you can even pray again.
Watching that cultural flip has been wild. But the speed of it? I’m not sure what it’s going to lead to.
Like… what does this do to this guy’s relationship with his grandma right now?
اینجا آمار کسانی که سگ میگیرن و بهش رسیدگی نمیکنن و بعد از مدتی رهاش میکنن زیاد شده، میخوان پز بدن! خود من تا پنج سال پیش اگه کسی رو میدیدم که با سگ داره توی پارک قدم میزنه فکر میکردم چقدر باکلاسه، بهرحال شهر ما کوچیکه.
دو نسل قبل از ما که میشن پدربزرگها و مادربزرگهامون معتقدن سگ نجسه، و اگه بهش دست بزنی دیگه تا غسل نکنی نمیتونی نماز بخونی. این تغییر فرهنگی به نظرم خیلی جالبه، ولی از سرعتش مطمئن نیستم که چه عواقبی در پی داره. الآن رابطهی این دوستمون با مادربزرگش چجوریه؟!
