Cycling and mushrooms - My Actifit Report Card: October 30 2025

A lot of mushrooms everywhere, I spotted them while walking the dog!
After cleaning the bathroom in the morning I mounted my mud guards on my bike, only a $4 upgrade but a lot of benefit, no more water and dirt spraying from my front tire in my face 😅

The wind wasn't as bad as last weeks but still pretty strong, around 22 km/h. I planned a heart rate zone 2 training today with a total distance of 57km, the last 15km I'm letting go on the low heart rate and push everything I have.
I learned I need to take something to eat with me on longer rides, two water bottles isn't enough so when I was home I was pretty much empty from energy, some chocolate milk as recovery drink, a hot shower to warm back up again and after a good lunch to replenish everything I used up.

I completed the ride 400km in October challenge on Garmin just in time, I'm 2 hours short of completing the ride 20 hours in October, too bad!
