Les comparto este nuevo y breve reporte de mi actividad física de hoy domingo. Como ya saben, este es mi fin de semana de descanso de la calistenia Powerfree, pero eso no significa que mis piernas se queden sin entrenar, siempre es bueno mantenerlas activas para no perder el ritmo.
Así que, apenas me desocupé, me puse las pilas. Eran las 6:25 p.m. y decidí salir a trotar para calentar. Mi ruta fue la de siempre: arranqué desde la “cancha de los Precursores”, le di hasta “Full Crema” y de ahí me regresé por la segunda entrada de la urbanización, directo al parque que está cerca de casa.
Ya en el parque, me tomé un respiro de unos minutos y luego le di con todo a las sentadillas. Hice varias series de diferentes variantes, con saltos incluidos para un extra de intensidad. Para rematar, hice elevaciones de gemelos a una sola pierna. Para serles sincero, me quité los zapatos para sentir mejor el contacto de la punta del pie con el banco y lograr una mejor extensión y contracción del músculo.
Después de eso, regresé a casa y, ya que estaba en eso, decidí completar el entrenamiento con unas series de peso muerto con mancuernas. Las que tengo creo que pesan 8 kilos cada una. Con eso sí que le di por finalizado mi entrenamiento del día y de toda la semana en general. Sé que la rutina no fue tan rigurosa como debería, pero no quería arriesgarme a tener secuelas en las piernas que me impidan volver con todo a los entrenamientos de Powerfree.

I'm sharing this new, brief report on my physical activity today, Sunday. As you know, this is my weekend off from Powerfree calisthenics, but that doesn't mean my legs don't get any exercise. It's always good to keep them active so I don't lose my rhythm.
So, as soon as I was free, I got going. It was 6:25 p.m., and I decided to go for a jog to warm up. My route was the same as always: I started at the "Precursores field," ran to "Full Crema," and then returned through the second entrance of the neighborhood, straight to the park near my house.
Once at the park, I took a few minutes' break and then went all out with the squats. I did several sets of different variations, including jumps for extra intensity. To finish off, I did single-leg calf raises. To be honest, I took off my shoes to feel the contact between my toes and the bench better and achieve better muscle extension and contraction.
After that, I went back home and, since I was already at it, I decided to finish my workout with a few sets of dumbbell deadlifts. I think the ones I have weigh 8 kilos each. With that, I finished my workout for the day and for the whole week in general. I know the routine wasn't as rigorous as it should have been, but I didn't want to risk any leg injuries that would prevent me from getting back to Powerfree training.
