Well today I am going to speak to you in histrionic mode, and it is that inside the chess there is a character that I have mentioned many times in several of my video as it was Bobby Fischer, the American prodigy who became world champion in 1972, by the mid 50's Bobby fischer was already in a category far superior to any other elite player and from then on nobody stopped him until he reached the world championship but I want to talk about a factor of influence that he had on the whole world at that time, it is true, there were many strong players like mijail tal to name a few. But, I must say that Bobby fischer became the first influencer in the history of the sport in my opinion, his prodigious way of playing created a completely beautiful game today I bring you a couple of games in which as simple as it may seem the moves he makes like in that game in 1956 in the United States championship against Samuel Reshevsky his bitter enemy both players hated each other to death, he takes an opening position in which Fischer's white squares bishop is totally enclosed and the bombshell he releases sacrificing himself at the end really ends the game. The fact that Bobby fischer had played it and it works for him a year later still in the frame of the United States Championship Bobby fischer makes another brutal blow against Paul Benko sacrificing a rook in exchange of playing e4 to set up an unstoppable checkmate position the influence that Fisher had with this pair of moves grew to such a level. In 2007 the Mexican Chess Championship was played in Mexico and the winner of the final game tournament could not solve the position he was playing with White and played Tf6 in the same way Fisher did against Benko, his opponent gives up then gives up and the game is over, his rival gives up then unburdened But because he knew the sequence that followed because Fisher became a teaching for anyone at the end of the Championship he was asked where was born that idea of playing Torre f6 to which the winner replied, he did not even know if it was going to work or not Moreover he had no idea I said he won lost with that move to which the interviewer says Then why did you do it And sarcastically replied only because Bobby Fischer had said so. I understand that all that of the influencers that you see today we millennials invented it but there was already someone had told you more than 60 years ago, you can discuss whether or not Bobby fischer is the greatest genius in the history of chess what can not be discussed is the influence he had on the sport and who practice it after him. The video was made entirely by myself including the intro. Recorded with my Alcatel 1B phone.
