En esta ocasión fué la ciudad de Le Mans, en el Circuito permanente de Bugatti donde se realizaría la quinta fecha del Campeonato de Mundial de Motociclismo.
Un circuito con 4.185 km de longitud, cico curvas a la izquierda y 9 curvas a la derecha, con dos cambios de elevación pronunciados (sector 2 y 3) y donde se tiene la velocidad por curva más rápida de todo el calendario (curvas 1 y 2) llegando a los 320 km/h.

Ni uno de los pilotos podia mejorar su tiempo de la Práctica 1.

Augusto Fernandez (GASGAS Factory Racing) daba la sorpresa de la sesión y colocaba la mejor vuelta rápida hasta el momento con 1:31.347.
Marini conseguía el mejor tiempo de la sesión con 1:31.268 y Quartararo no lograba mejorar el tiempo de Augusto Fernandez, perdiendose la oportunidad de avanzar a la Qualy 2 por sólo 2 centécimas de segundo.
Augusto lograba avanzar por primera vez en su carrera a la Qualy 2.
