Headed Back - My Actifit Report Card: May 8 2025
Today had to be planned well as it was a travel day which often catch me unprepared in terms of the amount of activity I could get given unknowns while at the airports. I got to the gym early for a good workout and went for my weekly long run on the treadmill. I thought an hour at a Zone 2 pace would be a good way to ensure I got to my target for the day. I felt really good and maintained the Zone 2 for most of the time.
It was a good way to get the day started but most important was the big breakfast I had before starting work as the day would be rough from a diet perspective. I was lucky I got that done early as I was running to everything else in the afternoon to get home. I grab a meal at the airport which was underwhelming but at least I had some snacks for the flight. Ended with a good protein shake before heading home on an Uber!
