Thinking Twice - My Actifit Report Card: January 12 2026
I was up well before dawn to get an early start if the week and day. The intent was to head to the gym for some strength training but after sitting to wait for my coffee, my back was hurting again so had to give it some thought as I do not want to push things and extend this injury. I decided to stay and go back to bed. Unfortunately, I did not get the additional sleep as I could not fall back asleep. Despite some light rain, I went for a walk outside once I did get up and had my coffee.
The pain did not really come back as I sat at my desk working the rest of the day which was weird. I stretched throughout the day a bit to test it a bit and it never came back so tomorrow I will be ready to head to the gym. I had to pace a bit in the afternoon to get to my goal but it took a while given how busy my schedule was. This week will likely be rough on the volume I could get with everything happening. Not the best way to start the week but I will adapt.
