Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is set to earn the second highest salary in the Premier League.

Tottenham announced on Wednesday morning, the signing of Jose Mourinho until the season 2022-2023, succeeding Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, who was sacked because of the decline in the results of Spurs.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho and Tottenham will receive £ 15 million a year, twice as much as Pochettino paid for Spurs.

The newspaper pointed out that this is the first time that Tottenham signed with a coach with major titles like Mourinho (25 titles), so the London club pays a huge salary.

Mourinho will be the second highest salary in the Premier League after Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who earns £ 20 million a year.
