Small Shift, Big Impact
One thing I know about myself without doubt is that in a person of habit. Once I start something, it takes a whole for me to stop and this is the main reason why I don’t like to get myself involved with bad habits. Most at times, we pick up some habits from people and places which we don’t even realize and it tends to stick with us for so long until our attention is drawn to it.
I’ve found myself in such a situation a couple of times which didn’t help. Speaking of habits, everyone loves good habits because obviously, they help to keep your life on track, and improve your daily life in so many ways. I’m always looking for ways and means to better my life because the world is evolving and no one wants to be left behind.
Over the years, I’ve learnt to cultivate some habits that would impact my life in so many ways and that one habit that has helped me so much is exercising. I actually do it for fun because that’s how I started exercising. It all started on a random day , I was bored and decided to exercise and so I did. And then the next day, I exercised again and all of a sudden it became an everyday thing for me.
Exercising for me isn’t really about lifting heavy weight and all. It’s about the little efforts you put in and how disciplined you are in achieving your goals. If there’s something I’ve learnt from exercising, it’s strength and resilience. Most days, you don’t even want to get out of bed but then you have to. Now, imagine waking up to exercise and refresh yourself before going about your daily activities, that’s more like a day booster for you.
Exercising has helped me be in the right headspace, be sharp and more attentive and also helped me track my lifestyle while practicing mindfulness. It’s an all in one package for me. I’ve bet others who have also improved their lives through exercising and this makes me feel so happy. This habit isn’t one I look forward to letting go off cos why would I?

This is so timely, reading this after my workout is so funny😅😅
It’s nice to see a lady talk about exercise this way. You can tell that you don’t just workout for the gram or because it’s a trend.
