A big weekend in the League.

Yesterday's results have a massive impact on the current league standings.

City winning, Aston Villa and Chelsea drawing now opens up the whole top of the table.

Suddenly there is an opening for Man U and Liverpool to exploit if they can take advantage.

IT also makes today's game for Arsenal a complete must win. From a position of dominance just a few short weeks ago they have managed to drop themselves into a title race with one of the biggest bottles jobs we have seen in the league.

A tough game lies ahead away to Spurs who know that they are vulnerable and City are finding form at just the right time now lie waiting just two points behind them if they cannot get a win today.

The two draws mean that Man United can stand along in fourth with a win away at Everton tomorrow which should be manageable if they can keep up their good form of the past few weeks. This is the chance to get back into the big time and within three points of third place if they want it.

The only question is whether they turn down yet another chance to get back into the big time like so many other opportunities or whether they are finally going to mature as a team and put in the performance that they can when it's needed. They already fucked up once to Everton this year and are more than capable of doing it again.

A win for Liverpool gets them right back in the hunt as well with the three points enough to go joint fifth and against a struggling Nottingham Forest is one they cannot afford to mess up.

It's getting tight up there for the last few weeks of the season with every point a valuable one. Top four is going to come down to the wire this year and still impossible to predict.

The bottom of the league isa lot easier to see an outcome for with Wolves and Burnley on the way down with a nice little battle for the third relegation spot.

To be fair if Spurs lose today they are getting perilously close to the drop with a win from West Ham enough to scare the shit out of the couple of teams above them. One to keep an eye on.
