Ireland V England - 6 Nations

This is the make or break game now.

Ireland V England at Twickenham. Always a classic between two old enemies. But it's not the same as most other years. Most years they are both doing well and one of them is flying it with the enemy trying to take them down before they get a grand slam or a championship.

This year they are not even playing second fiddle.

This year it's a twist with two previous giants that have fallen well short of their normal standards. It's just week three and both teams are fighting for their lives with one of them totally out of the race by Saturday evening. Even at that it will take a miracle to topple France and take the championship but you never know.

First things first is their is a game to be won at the weekend.

Finally Farrell has seen sense and replaced Prendergast. He has great potential for the future of the position but he's just not at that international level quite yet in terms of physicality and composure. Great player but he has been thrust into the limelight far too early and it has damaged his confidence and his play.

Crowley is not the be all and end all of the conversation either but he is a tougher player and is the right call for now. Hopefully it works out that way but it had to be done.

England had their arses handed to them last week by Scotland but we all know that they are better than that and at home much stronger again. It's a hard one to call but does make for a cracker of a match.

I'll slightly favour Ireland but that's just national bias and if their was money on the line would be looking more at yellow cards and sloppy play considering both teams are off form and desperate.

Looking forward to this one now.
