My Actifit Report Card: July 11 2025
Loads of steps yesterday as I went into London to meet up with the company. Every summer we all get together to have some fun. We went along to Immersive Gamebox yesterday and had a lot of fun playing games!
We were broken down into fourteen teams of six and had a room each. You get two hours, choose the games you want to play at the start and away you go.
We played two, starting with a puzzle game based on Squid Game. Each person wears a little hat with a sensor on the top and you move back and forth, left and right to control the onscreen characters or cursor. We all had various tasks to complete and making a mistake would result in elimination. Thankfully not as they do in the TV series!
The walls are all projected upon and are touch sensitive. Cameras in the ceiling track each players position in the room. So clever.
It was so funny and we scored quite well overall!

I've never watched a single episode! The game was good though and deviously challenging. We've done some great ones every summer, the last few have been treasure hunts across London. Ironically this one was chosen in case the weather was no cop - the truth is all of my colleagues, even the sun worshippers, felt it was way too hot. Even our Washington colleagues thought it so too and their weather right now is perhaps slightly worse. It was nice to see some of them too.
