I’ve signed up for the local Park Run, I’ve not yet been but only put my name down last week. Then I’ve got two or three weekends where I’ll not be able to take part for various reasons. The aim is to get down there in Feb and then definitely spring onwards.

I love a bit of theatre. The last show I saw was “Charleys Aunt” a hilarious comedy that the Watermill in Newbury staged last year. It was ridiculous but excellent!

I remember our Alice doing the Great North Run back in 2003 and I had a press pass as a photographer.

In terms of blogging. Yep this is rapidly becoming my base camp too.

Good luck with the parkrun. It can be a fun event and is not to be taken too seriously.

We enjoy a show. Others in the family have seen more than I have. I've been to a few in the last year anyway.

The GNR would be fun, but it's expensive and hard to get in. I'll try again next year. We have friends who live near the finish, so I could possibly stay there.

The blogging comment was aimed at Strava folk. I hope to tempt some of them to the 'dark side' :)
